Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

tapioks
May be you can't run fast enough because ssao SizeScale and SourceTexturesScale were not reduced 2 times accordinly to supersampling? There is no reason to run them in bigger than screen size resolution.
0_0 Will try that... :)

What about Sampling range?

EDIT: Ok, I tried with the Size and Source scales by half, and this gained me about 5 fps, though still only running at 25 FPS. It really looks amazing though :)
Was it correct to reduce the scales by half, or should I have reduced to 25% of original?

By the way I now have a laptop with i7-4700HQ 2.4GHz and a GTX 780M 4GB, 24GB RAM....

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

Hi Boris,

Just a quick report, found some artifacts of the new AA in a few places, and captured a screenshot here. On the left ENB is off, on the right it is on; see the 'new' aliasing there? This only seems to happen with certain objects, but it is always similar, a very light color aliasing outside of the object...

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

SizeScale and SourceTexturesScale must be reduced twice to be the same as screen resolution, not 25%.
On that screenshot, is it happen in interiors only?

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

Hey Boris made an account to report an issue with the steam overlay in Fallout New Vegas.

If it pops up when a friend sends a message or you open it yourself the games geometry will vanish for 5-10 seconds and it's like you can see through walls and stuff.

I have an AMD card if that matters.

It's not that big of a deal since I can just disable the overlay.

Sorry if this was already reported

It wasn't reported, but i don't think that's fixable, i'm nvidia user.

I believe that's AMD specific, haven't had it happen to me since moving over to Nvidia.

Hi Boris,

Yes, the issue only seems to happen in interior cells. I found a couple other objects with the same issue...

Hi Boris,

Here is another issue of the interior artifacts with Accumulative AA enabled. Not sure if this is useful for you...

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

It's all the same bug of computation blending weight on edges.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.249

Awesome update Boris, I just wish I could use this new AA.

I run 4800x900 eyefinity and a quick test shows that this AA makes my FPS drop from 36 to 22 where my current character is saved.

Nonetheless, it looks amazing. I just wish my 290 was more powerful.
