Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.297

Excellent work. This update fixed all the banding issues on my end. Thank you!
Edit: Fade effects (cutscenes etc.) work as well.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.297

I noticed some strange behaviour when outdoors and not in a city, when I move the camera at a certain angle hair is excluded from ambient occlusion:

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.297

I have a few questions for anybody.

Is there any conceivable reason why I wouldn't want to DecreaseLoadingTime?
Is there any reason to use HighPrecisionRendering if I'm not using DisablePalette?
If I'm using in-game AF or Nvidia AF, is there any reason to use ForceAnisotropicFiltering?

SandvichDISH
Can't do anything about that, it's game bug, hairs and some other objects sometime not drawed to depth and normals.

1) Silly question.
2) High precision is always better than vanilla and palette parameter have nothing in common with high precision, but both enabled are the best now.
3) Game own anisotropic filtering is ugly not properly working. Nvidia one reduce performance of mod effects by applying filtering to them, but i tried to make code to avoid this in DD even at cost of performance (skyrim version depends from driver options a lot).

Thanks! So should in-game AF be set to TRILINEAR? Or is there a fix in the config.ini file to disable it altogether?

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.297

In-game anisotropic must be set anyway.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.297

Folks, do you need special high precision rendering mode when game entirely forced to have hdr only and no color banding artifacts occur? Performance hit is heavy, but okay for 256+ bit videocards.

So in DD, does that mean we better not force aniso via Nvidia CC, even if we have a powerful PC, because of wasting performance anyway? Or does it not matter? :)
