Awesome work on latest versions boris!
My view on the whole VR issue is - NVidia 3D Vision is way way way better, get 95% of the immersion and all of the 3D depth of VR while still being able to use keyboard and mouse and only needing to wear normal sized glasses. I've shown it to dozens of people, and never gotten a reaction less than "holy crap that's utterly amazing". Most underrated technology ever. But oh well.
Anyways - boris, one request. The procedural sun's depth seems way off when using 3D Vision... the disc of the sun itself seems to be no higher than some mountaintops. Is that an easy adjustment you can make to raise it back to the top of the skybox or whatever the proper terminology is? If it's not easy, don't worry about it, I can just disable the feature.

LoD
I can add time of the day separation, but its weird, rain is just refraction, there is nothing to tweak about it and it look the same at any moment.
Qwinn
Without testing i have no idea what to change to make it look right, but i dont have videocard now, so wait and remind me when will see that signature is changed.

Hi Boris,
Any chance of seeing the ENB Rays feature on SSE? The Bethesda's GodRay is horrible, and the B$ sun ray is even active at night.

I second it..... These Sun rays really would be great in SE.......skysan4298 wrote:Hi Boris,

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
I cant mix sun rays with existing volumetric rays of the game, because mine are generated from sun direction, but game generated from shadow, which do not have same direction as sun very often. Reduce amount of game rays when sun is in the screen and increase my own rays intensity will look buggy by colors, cause everything is much whiter by game rays. I dont know how to do this mix.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
Maybe an optional switch to tint the volumetric rays with the color from your rays, if that is possible (or the other way around).
Even if not possible I'd be willing to set the transparency for the SSE effect so low that it would be just a background foggy effect if we had your rays, especially if they reacted to clouds and mountains like your Skyrim 2011 ones do. It might be just a matter of tweaking the records on an esp to blend them better (some weather mods match their rays better to the sun color).
I like the toned down volumetric rays with your new controls, but they just can't do distant effects well, your rays are flat out better.

Version updated, download again
Fixed bugs of fog adjusting for transparent objects like water streams, eyes, etc. Disabled mod when Creation Kit is running.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
Strange, people in Steam tell different opinion about Skyrim VR, positive and negative both by same things. Nobody mentioned modding of it, so guess those people dont bother about such things.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
I see I can tone down the B$ stupid GodRay nuclear fallout look with the ENB VolumetricRays setting.
I tried the PSVR on my GTX 1070 FE for both the "mono" mode (a big theater screen) and the 3d VR mode, and I didn't like the low resolution in the 3d VR mode. The 3d VR mode requires a huge performance GPU/CPU to produce 720p or above with 45fps or more. Each eye will need to receive more than 45fps to prevent puking your lunch, so the VR game ends up producing 540p or less to maintain the high fps. The "mono" mode can produce the "screen door" effect since the tiny pixels are magnified and less than a few inches away from your eyes. I heard about a 4K VR headset to give each eyes 1080p, but I heard a couple of GTX 1080Ti SLI to produce 45 to 60fps 4K 3d. A novelty item I think, and the GPU will need to be advanced enough to produce 4K 3d 60fps.
