Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.345

Well, I believe there are less people writing here, because this version has less issues/bugs than the last one. I mean the 0.343 thread was the longest SSE thread so far. So it may just seem less active. Thank you for your work anyway.
I have a few questions though.
What kind of reflection type does water use, changing SSR values didn't have an effect on them.
Would it be possible to add some kind of underwater volumetrics, using the base game volumetric lighting?
Or can we get some more parameters for base game VL? Like color/curve?
If it's possible without tons of work/performance drain or course.
Thank you :)

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.345

Water using screen space reflection with temporal calculations. I dont think it worth to touch this effect by parameters without serious rework of it by quality and water itself too. Underwater volumetrics do exist from game volumetric rays effect, it's applied underwater, but i didnt find any idea how to change parameters of it when going under water only, because there is no exact point when something changes between underwater and water, some vertical distance on water surface show both above and under water, so when i tried to apply underwater tint to rays, they also became colored above water too and this really sucks. Maybe i'll find some trick later, can't tell now.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.345

Don't worry Boris - as mohaderhangen mentioned, people are less active, because the last version is much better and everyone is playing for a change. Point ligh option made the game so much better - now it's more enjoyable for just playing. It is like this: the more bugs, the more active are all the members in this forum. (trying to help out by identifying every bug) Less bugs = less active members.
And when there are less bugs, then there is more time to rest or meet new challenges. (Like maybe [Water] section?)

Anyway - keep up the good work. We are very grateful. ;)

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.345

I have managed to fix blood problem on my end. Lowering Subdermal to 0 makes problem almost invisible. Thank you for hard work Boris!

Awesome, after having gone from 1080p to 1440p I can really feel that performance hit from AO. I hope something comes out of it, but I understand getting AO to run well is still very hard.
