Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
No, its impossible. And not cpu usage, bug memory copy speed bottleneck, because i need to dublicate data stored in constant buffers by the game to modify and game already sucks in that, so i make things worse.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
I saw this problem with NAT weather mod, during cloudy weathers when ENB is enabled. Some waterfalls get darker when the character get closer to them. Didnt check if this is occuring with other Weather mods yet.....

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
Installed NAT, still no luck to find buggy particle. Tried with weathers d4886, 10a234, 10a233, 10a232.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
Those bright ones? They're only bright because the user jacked up the intensity.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
I guess the user had different meshes installed for those mist/steam particles at the time, for example the ones from the particle patch, or RWT has been updated since then. With the particle patch installed you can control the intensity of those particles since they're used elsewhere in the game as well. Anyway, I don't think that's the bug that they're talking about since he mentions that "I turned up the [Particle] settings in ENB ONLY to exaggerate the difference in splashes for visibility's sake." but it's hard to make out what it really is, maybe just that not everything can be controlled with [PARTICLE] parameters or that the color is incorrect, or both.

Didnt check the weather ID, but for me its occuring in all cloudy weathers from NAT, but not in all waterfalls, as far as I can remember. This one is near Halfmoon Mill:

EDIT: I'm using Particle patch, overwriting files from RWT.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
I only mentioned the [Particle] parameter (and increasing it) because I thought maybe it had something to do with why the rest of the splashes were dark/grey. The dark/grey splashes is what is trying to be solved.
How does one go about finding out what weather is currently active? I'll jump in and find a specific weather to use as an example. What else can I do while I'm at it?
Here are screens with and without ENB active: https://imgur.com/a/qOxb5qM

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.365
Thanks, the plot thickens. I believe it's the same issue that we used to have with Oldrim early on and it happens if you set up your preset in such a way that you need to scale up all the intensities, but since you have no way to do so with the waterfalls they end up being too dark. Like here, just a quick test (SSE):
