Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

Your work on this has really been progressing. I really enjoy the latest version, with the new night/day detector method. I have been able to get much more natural looking sunsets without SSAO looking bad on foggy areas.

I do have one strange problem however. You can see it in these videos below. When the sun is setting, the sky gets darker and darker as you would expect, transitioning into the orange glow of sunset, then all of a sudden right before it actually sets, the whole sky gets brighter for a bit before it continues down.

I had timescale set high (1120) for testing, which I don't think should have affected anything. Anyway, here it is:

This one shows it better, you can see the actual sun:

Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

Is there any infos out there on how to tweak the enbbloom.fx? I've tried using a few different kinds, the one from ENB Evolved has some tweakable settings but I'd like to know where to tweak other things such as constrast etc.. Also I think it would be awesome to be able to have separate settings for day/night/interiors, don't know if that is possible but it would be a great feature as some bloom files look good in the day but not so great indoors or outside and vice versa. So any help at all on the bloom tip would be much appreciated, thanks!

Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

Bloom contrast is in the enbseries.ini, or is it for the whole scene not just the bloom? haven't used those settings as of yet.

[BLOOM]

Quality=0

AmountDay=0.3
AmountNight=0.4
AmountInterior=0.3

ContrastDay=1.0 ---------------
ContrastNight=1.0 ---------------
ContrastInterior=1.0 ---------------

BlueShiftAmountDay=1.0
BlueShiftAmountNight=1.0
BlueShiftAmountInterior=1.0

And the enbblom.fx that comes with the injector and wrapper files doesn't contain any tweakable variables, they have to be added in by a user who knows how to do it. Like Indigoneko/Mtichenor have done.

Use that one if you want to tweak your bloom a bit more than decreasing and increasing the bloom amount. Though if you are using ENBEvolved or HD6 enbeffect.fx those contain some commands to tweak the bloom more than increasing and decreasing the amount.

Jawz had some good suggestions. The HD6 enbeffect.fx has pretty nice controls for bloom brightness, saturation and contrast as well as a limiter on how bright the source needs to be to trigger bloom. With some effort you can also add day, night and interior interpolation for all the stuff which is probably what you need. As for the bloom contrast adjustment, it's not really that useful as it doesn't affect the whole image but just bloom which it just tends to make look bad.

Here are all the mesh fixes in one package: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8940928/mesh_fixes_for_ENB.zip.

It contains fixes for the bright water foam, Solitude door and market stalls as well as wall torch. If you see a buggy object somewhere (affected by incorrect category or shows up too bright) out of place, please let me know and I'll take a look.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

I have already added DNI seperation to almost every commands in the HD6 v11-4 enbeffect.fx file ;) And that reminds me I have to upload a new version with corrected coding to the Daynight_colorsat variables :P

I have also added DNI seperation to the ENB evolved vanilla and enb bloom commands which can be located in the same file over at my JENB mod thread at Skyrimnexus.

Thanks for the all-in-one package Mindflux :) will try them out right away.

Jawz I wouldn't mind getting hold of that enbeffect.fx file. Sounds very useful!

Any chance you got Spell of Luminus - Night Brightness Adjuster from Ultra Realistic World Lighting installed?

If so, get rid of it because it's bugged. I told the guy a couple of times and even made some video's of it but he never bothered to fix it.

Here is what happens:

5:30 AM to 6:30 AM --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0_Esm0RPQE
7:30 PM to 8:30 PM --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTUj3bQ921k

And that's Vanilla with just that Mod.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

I am in the process of uploading the new updated enbeffect files as we speak, it can be found at either my Guide mod thread or my JENB preset mod thread over at Skyrim nexus. Link to them is in my signature down here except for the guide though.

Yes, that's the package joey4track needs :P I should have recommended it but forgot, too much going on.

If you need any help decyphering the bloom code (BLOOM_CRISP is the one I was talking about), just let me know and I'll write you some quick notes.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.136

Thanks for the info guys. At least with the bloom codes that I have been using the variables for contrast in the enbseries.ini seem to do nothing for some reason. I guess I should look deeper into the HD6 code which is what I am using although I'm not sure it is the most updated version. I can get that with the JENB config I imagine? The only bloom options I see with my current enbeffect.fx is the deblueify settings. I'd love to be able to tweak radius, contrast, brightness, saturation etc.. in the enbeffect, as even the 'tweakable' settings in a lot of the bloom code like tint etc.. don't even seem to work. It would be awesome to be able to tweak all those with separate day/night/interior settings. Maybe I'll see something different in the updated HD6 code.

Hopefully if I can get this bloom situation taken care of I might have something nice to release soon. Thank you all again for the tips! I'll try to post some of my code later when I get home.
