GradientIntensityInteriorNight do not have any issues, code is correct. But i'm curios where the gell to modify sky in interior?
Performance not optimized for AMD yet?
More than that, AMD unsupported. I purchased AMD card to adopt 0.109 version for it (or other first with vendor hacks enabled), but replacing videocard and drivers each time is definetly not allowed on my pc, i better stay with it till my death instead of modern buggy junk metal. All issues with AMD because of drivers, their setting and user's made changes in skyrimprefs.ini, i'm tired to be asked "why it's not optimized for ATI".

Are you using any Mods like Dark Dungeons for ENB? Some of the Mods change the Dungeon-Settings to be allways at Night. Could be a Reason for only GradientIntensityInteriorNight having an Effect.Wolfstryder wrote:Am I doing something wrong?
GradientIntensityInteriorDay seems to not have any effect when I change it.
However, GradientIntensityInteriorNight does have an effect when I change it.
Also,
FixParallaxBugs=true or false?
IgnoreThreadManagement=true or false?
IgnoreThreadPriority=true or false?
AntiBSOD=true or false? (I may be crazy but runs faster when set to true?)

ENB is not officially optimized for AMD. But it still works fine if you own a good AMD card preferable 7000 series. And latest drivers.
What you should check is to delete all custom driver profile for Skyrim if you made any. Put most of the options to 'Application Controlled'.
And a stable SkyrimPrefs.ini with changes that are approved to be stable and working. Dont forget the required ini lines and changes for ENB.
I have done my tests with gtx670 and 7970. Both perform equally under same ENB preset, and latest drivers of their own.
(except nVidia latest drivers are reported to be buggy when using ENB. AMD works fine)

You had some very bad unlucky time with new hardware, but you cannot declare everything bad based on that. Nothing is 101% perfect in life.
You can see my pc config below. It is working as it should with every dll you release without making my PC explode. I am not a genius about hardware, i have no advance knowledge. But like you said, i keep proper driver config/profile and good ini settings even AMD works well for ENB, sometimes better than nVidia.

I agree. AMD is shaping up pretty well and I really think Boris should reconsider looking into optimizing for AMD. He is missing out on supporting a lot of your base.

GradientIntensityInteriorDay/Night when your in a cave and you can see the sky above you through cracks.
SiSaSyco or anyone,
I am using Dark Dungeons for ENB so I guess that's the problem. Is there any other mod that would work?

Great news, I seriously need to have my 2XMSAA.25 january 2013
Many users don't use reflection and ssao/ssil effects, so i'll restore hardware antialiasing in next version for TES Skyrim.

Hmmmmmm..... Will this restored compatibility lower SSAO quality a/o performance ?
Seriously, Boris, your AO algorythm is like no other, and maybe I'm a particular case here.... but I would trade any driver-based AA form for you to push on with these...
Can I eventually suggest something ?
Would it be something possible for you to setup 2 alternatives ? (sorry, I may sound stupid, I have 0,1% of your own knowledge) :
One "High-quality, no compromise", based on deffered, since high-end rigs can take care of aliasing via SMAA + downsampling
One "all-rigs ready" allowing for hardware AA
Last thing, already asked you about this, but is eventual SSAA implementation so prone to bugs ? Have you think about it since ?
Thanx for all Boris, whatever you decide

But it will be a choice right? SSAO/SSIL or AA? Not AA instead of SSAO/SSIL? I like anti-aliasing, but I really love SSAO/SSIL.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.143
Setting SubSurfaceScatteringMultiplierInteriorNight=0.0 in the .ini doesn't work, the value seems to be 1.0 in game.
It works if you set it to 1 and then put it to 0 using in-game GUI, but not if you set it in the .ini.
-Edit: Ehh nevermind, false alarm. It seems like vegetation subsurface scattering was affecting character shadows and I was modifying the vegetation setting with the GUI. My bad.

Especially ENB's AO-IL....midhras wrote:But it will be a choice right? SSAO/SSIL or AA? Not AA instead of SSAO/SSIL? I like anti-aliasing, but I really love SSAO/SSIL.
I mean, I can't imagine TESV without it. Nvidia's AO makes it so FLAT compared to the coupled AO-Complex IL.....
