Added new type of ssao/ssil effect and increased it's performance and quality of it's filter. This new ssao/ssil is similar to gta5 version, with self intersections.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
Thank you for the latest SSAO. The performance on the HIGH Sampling Quality is back to 45+fps @2560x1080p (ultra wide monitor). Awesome that the Visualize AO is working now, and I can adjust the SSAO setting visually.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
Wow, the new "UseSelfIntersecting" SSAO option is a really big improvement in terms of accuracy and depth blending across the scene and comes at 0 performance hit from what I have seen! All I needed to do was bump SamplingRange down by about 0.03 notches and the results are pretty fantastic.
I am really enjoying the ability to use the SSAO/IL visualization as well. FYI to others, after you toggle it on hit save and apply to see it.
Just on minor thing I noticed is that AOAmount changes do not appear while using the visualization. However, this is acceptable as other settings do and this option is almost better to fine tune with the normal scene appearance after other broad SSAO changes are perfected.
Many thanks for the excellent update!

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
Thanks for the update Boris
Nice to know that the Visualize AO is working now.
I have a little problem with the Skylighting effect in the SE version. Seems like it's not applied to the grass.
A small video from SSE (Veydosebrom - Grasses and Groundcover) :
and from LE (Voluptuous Grasses), for comparison :
I don't know if this is how it should work, or maybe it's a bug, or something is wrong on my side ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
If it's not applied to grass, then grass is not drawed to shadows. Try to set values in skyrimprefs.ini.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
Values from my SkyrimPrefs.ini :
[Display]
bShadowsOnGrass=1
[Grass]
fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=13000.0000
fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000
fGrassStartFadeDistance=9000.0000
as you can see on this video shadows are drawn on the grass, but to balance the lighting I need to use a really low Ambient Lighting Intensity.
In the LE, low Skylighting values, low ambient light on the grass, can make a pitch black grass even if the Ambient Lighting Intensity is set to 1.0.
In the SE version, Skylighting values has no effect on the ambient lighting applied to the grass. Can't make a really dark grass with the Ambient Lighting Intensity set to 1.0.
[SKYLIGHTING]
IgnoreWeatherSystem=true
Quality=1
AmbientMinLevelDawn=0.6
AmbientMinLevelSunrise=0.55
AmbientMinLevelDay=0.55
AmbientMinLevelSunset=0.6
AmbientMinLevelDusk=0.6
AmbientMinLevelNight=0.6
AmbientMinLevelInteriorDay=0.1
AmbientMinLevelInteriorNight=0.1
HighPrecision=false

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.352
Oh, got it. I forgot that in SE already made skylighting per object assigned, so it must be some grass shader not patched properly. I'll check this.

Oh wow, this looks awesome. Thank you so much. It had always bothered me before, but I thought it was an engine limitation.ENBSeries wrote:Version updated, download again

Is there a chance you could please port the grass fix for Skyrim VR as well? And thank you for all your work, it has made Skyrim truly beautiful.
