I'm not sure if this is an ELFX issue only as I have flickering on smoke particles from braziers in Whiterun also (not sure if ELFX affects those or not, will have to speak to the author). I too experience flicerking, I see it primarily on smoke particles (as mentioned) and inside the Riverwood Inn aswell (which is where it's worst.
Will have to try disabling a few mods and see if I can come across the cause of the issue before I post anything more.

ELFX flickering doesn't happen with 0.139. And i believe i didn't see it in 0.143.Unreal Warfare wrote:I'm not sure if this is an ELFX issue only as I have flickering on smoke particles from braziers in Whiterun also (not sure if ELFX affects those or not, will have to speak to the author). I would like to test 0.143 if anyone still has it.

Turning off all options doesn't make a difference. Sharing my Savegame means you need SkyRe and Automatic Variants or the game will crash on Load.ENBSeries wrote:Svarog
Installed ELFX and can't find myself this issue. Amount of changes between 0.139 and 0.145 don't allow to test remotely (and i don't want to do this any more, useless spending of time), so share savegame. And it would be simpler if you could found what do this by turning everything off step by step.
Someone share 0.143 please thank you.

Do you use SMIM and EL&FX? Are you installing the compatible meshes?

The flickering of FX (smoke and such) are caused by multiple lights hitting that smoke FX as it uses the light to "illuminate" the smoke.

Here are versions 141, 143, 144. But i don't think it's will help if don't know how to see myself, too much changes for testing remotely, it will take many days.
edit: file deleted

So which ifilter type s the least FPS intensive? 4 or 3?
and you said filter quality is the number of passes. Hoe come more passes = better preformance?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.145
Of filter types, you mean? Type 4 is the fastest.
As for the filter quality, more filtering passes means better quality. The value isn't reflective of the number of passes.
