Ok last one from me then, until you want more tests done ^^
More freezes again, first one was kinda huge (maybe it was two in a row) :S A stutter now and then, alittle more stutter on heavy forested area but not much like the no enbhost run.
Test 5 was better in general I think, when it comes to control and performance it was really good :> Thank you for trying to solve this ^^
Test 6:
TES Skyrim 0.202

just to let you now GTX680 are notorious for micro stutters. I had two of them just yours and sold them.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.202
Using a single Card, I don't have any problems. But I saw a 2x 680 SLI test on Battlefield 3 with micro-stutter problems. (AMD's equivalent of 680 GTX has much more stutter problems in crossfire mode)charlievoviii wrote:just to let you now GTX680 are notorious for micro stutters. Well, I had some freezes...but the funny thing is, it was always only the image. the game keeps playing on in my case. After a freeze in morthals swamps, I mudcrap attacked me, I could hear the noise, I could pause the game, or type TGM into the consol. everything was working exept the display, it was frozen. Mostly the game crashes if alt/tabbed, in one case I could free the display of its freeze.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.202
I heard some cards do that, but never really had a set card´s that did it to my knowledge. I use a 120hz screen currently, so any micro or normal stutter get really noticeable :>charlievoviii wrote:just to let you now GTX680 are notorious for micro stutters. Skyrim with mods and enb is only game I had with stutters from what I remember lately. All other games I thrown at it just work fine, except poorly optimized games with crappy engines or just laggy online play (difference is usualy very noticeable) :>
Either way I will most likely upgrade early next year to Haswell and couple 780´s, I rarely do video edit´s and cuda related stuff ^^

Re: TES Skyrim 0.202
I do not know why i am unable to get better than 0.201
Maybe because of AMD? At this point i weeded out all the broken/least-used mods. Hard to say if my Skyrim is too unstable itself.
I would like to do more tests for 0.202
Sorry i missed the last 3 test files.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.202
Boris
Did a few more tests that I done before but maybe helpful not sure :>
Single gpu have same freezes as SLI and same amount.
While testing single gpu I noticed slower cell loads and very often objects like grass and so on pop up alot closer when running full speed.
Seems like it is very fps related, if you can keep about minimum 40 fps cells loads tend to load well in advance and objects rarely pop up close with current versions.
I usualy set Pref performance inside Nvidia Control Panel and change nothing else, setting it to default "Adaptive" makes no difference on freezes.
Ill now try without any mods at all thou I tried that with 0.201.
Next ill try remove my HDDs and only use my raided SSDs.
Uhmm last will be taking out my 680s and try my daugther´s 580 :>
If I get some more ideas ill try that too, if not ill put it back to normal and wait for next test ^^

Why would you use regular HDD if you have SSD? make no sense. Also you might to check your Motherboard company if they got any Bios update.Yersinia79 wrote:Boris

Re: TES Skyrim 0.202
My experience:
Using TPC and heavily modded skyrim, and RealVision (latest fro ELFX) maximum effects:
I was in Riverwood, it was night.. After loading the save everything was damn smooth, i was able to play outside with 60fps solid, no sign of microstutter.. No freezes..
Then i went into the inn, there're a lot of people and i noticed some stutter, not that heavy as it was on 0.201.. Then i went back outside and the game wasn't able to run at 60fps solid as before.. i freed VRAM but no luck..
From that moment i experience a lot of little microstutter and fps average to 54-56.. 49-50 in some area with a lot of grass (i'm using grass on steroids and fGrassStartFadeDistance=14000.0000)
I got one freeze in Whiterun.. In Whiterun also the fps were locked to 40, mostly while looking on something far from me..
Then i got another freeze after making an armor at the forge.. I waited 2 mins and just the sound was going on.. i closed TESV.exe.. TESV.exe at 998mb of RAM and enbhost.exe at 1,89gb of RAM
My enblocal.ini is the default one, i just changed 512 to 256 because of my VRAM.. i couldn't afford any better that day so i bought that 2GB version and now i'm screwed..

But looks like I don´t need to go that far
Boris
Might have solved my freezes, going to do couple runs just to be sure I really did :>
