You can remove this in the visualsettings dat file, or just use this one here https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/improved ... ic-removal

I agree. The distance between the first set of cascades are so small. This wouldn't be an issue at all if the quality of the two cascades were similar, but because they aren't its extremely noticeable. There is however a parameter in the timecyc files that allows you to increase the distance at a cost of reduce shadow quality. It's called "dir_shadow_cascade0_scale". I set mine to 2.0, default is 0.0

Re: GTA 5 beta 0.271

Please test attached version for performance loss and stability. A lot of optimizations was made for the future.

EDIT: file deleted

Re: GTA 5 beta 0.271

Latest official version, same place - 54-57 FPS (it varies as without mod by just staying in one place).
With this test version I don't see any FPS loss or performance issues. Great job. Tested with the very latest AMD beta drivers - 15.5.
I'll test further later, not enough time right now (and that is not games, thank god).

Is that specific place only? Where is it and make screenshot of your game video options, all of them

Thanks! I'm going to do VisualV mod for GTA V (so I'll remove this effect), but now I'm very busy.

The new version runs perfectly for me.

For god sake, stop using amd! Game totally fine with your setting on my pc and i said that fixing amd bug which lead to performance drop means that mod is very sensitive to any crapware and bad drivers which change device state and mod cached is not same as real one. What should i do? Ignore amd users and make the previous version which will have much worse performance because each time more and more that slow for amd functions are used? It's dead end.

PS: no testing, no reports - no modding.

Same result as before.

as you may understand I'm not the kind of guy who can't just buy a new piece of hardware just like that.

don't know.. I understand that you develop on nvidia, so is complex to work without test is like running blind... so unless you get a new AMD card to work on it you should probably ignore AMD and focus on what you have and can do (Nvidia) ----it will be better for your health but then amd users will complain a lot so you'll get headaches again, I think you are f**ed up anyway :?
