Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
If I can find them, I'll revert to older drivers for my card and see if I get anything different. I also have Win 7 installed on a drive I almost never use (I got it through some less than legal means which is why I purchased Win 8 awhile back) and can thus try it in Win 7 and 10. I'll report back when I find out if things change.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
Hey,
I would just like to know, which value should I use?
VRamSizeDX9
VRamSizeDX11
I found this answer:
"It's driver dependent only. My dx9 reports only 4 gb for 2gb physical vram with 16 gb ram on win7 x64. The bigger - the better."
So, is it possible maybe I should use 26304?
It's so unbelievable to me.
Thank you!

VRamSizeDX9
edit: dx11 with SLI disabled results in the value of ~28000.
If I enable SLI, its ~14000...
The precise half of the value with sli disabled.
I saw kranazoli's results with the gtx 980 single card - so I disabled my sli and tried it out (running 980 sli)

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
Sli/crossfire dublicate resources in vram, that's why twice lower. Btw, i'm curious how many memory reported for sli if 4gb limit exist for single card, if 2gb, this is an epic fail.

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
its dx9 4064 too.
Edit: With Single card I get roughly 28 GB of memory. But this value is rubbish, isn't it? Since I have 16GB of ram + 4GB of vram = 20GB, and I've read, you shouldn't go over 10GB in enblocal.ini file anyway.

So, I have to use 11904-170=11734
Sounds good?

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
But with EnableCompression=true I got less RAM usage. Under 3,1GB of RAM usage under almost every circumstances. But if I choose this value to false it goes above 3,1GB of RAM usage. Or it is does not really matter yet, if we use ENBBoost if RAM usage gets higher than 3,1GB?ENBSeries wrote:Skinner
EnableCompression=false is better, because true is for systems with small amount of ram or x86 OS. VideoMemorySizeMb must not be bigger than "dx9 4064 mb".
I see, that with false less stuttering and so on, but how about RAM usage?
Thank you!

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
For god sake, do you pay taxes for ram usage or what? Who cares how many memory is used if you have free?

Re: VRamSizeTest v1.0
One thing I found interesting, and I will let others chime in here. I ran the test from Windows 10 with SLI 980 ti's. Like everyone else, I got the 4064 GB under dx9. Now, when I'm running the game and I monitor both cards via GPU-Z, and/or Skyrim Performance Monitor, my VRAM usage ranges from 4700MB to 5700MB or so. As soon as I hit 5500-5600MB, my frame rate drops to high teens, low 20's for about a second and a half then its right back to buttery smooth game play. Its really weird and I am in the process of trying a bunch of things out. But that's when i found the threads about the dx9 limit in Windows 10. I just thought I would post and share my little bit of info here for anyone if it matters. Thanks.

Not yet. But who knows?! In the Middle East where we (try to) live. :/ENBSeries wrote:For god sake, do you pay taxes for ram usage or what? Who cares how many memory is used if you have free?
Very funny, Boris! Very funny!
That means with your ENBBoost we can use more ram than 3,1GB without getting CTD?
I still not really sure about that. :/ My mistake, I admit.
