With the current ENB binaries there are blocky borders around the footprints from the Footprints mod.

Fiddling with the ENB shaders, "Image-based Lighting" seems to be the culprit.

You need to use alpha test for those type of decals.

You need to open the plugin with CK, edit the texture sets added by the mod (Object Window > TextureSet) and enable Alpha Testing.

Those z-fighting bugs are caused by crossing of waters (like lods of mountains flickering). As i said, game use special stencil test to mask out such waters, but i can't use it with tessellation, because flat stencil mask will cut off displaced areas on sides of water planes, so another form of bug will occur and it's very annoying to see lines of cropped tessellation on the water sometime. Theoretically there is no solution to fix issue without making some other sort of bug, except to avoid crossing one water to another.

That was with old versions too, but i tried to fix it and it made other places buggy, so mod author or you need to patch it.

Hi Boris,
Z-fighting at SE version, as well?
I thought Bethesda solved that issue, cause the famous Z-fighting near Whiterun to Rorikstead road, has gone away, or just not as frustrating like Oldrim was.
I also said, 90% of water surface looks good. (Expect Solitude)
So, not that little pond where I am playing, when I play. I just wanted to share and shared with some of us, to ask what do they think?
I posted that bug here, cause firemanaf also noticed some weird issue with water, and ask for me:
- Did I post it to Boris forum;
- I said no, cause I think it's not ENB issue. It's something else.
But I know lot's of good knowledge of players, and modders reading your forum...
I do not want to say the name (I don't have the right), but also I knew not just one person, who dropped RW2. And don't use water mods, at all, just textures.
Yesterday, I posted extra infos about the bug to TechAngel, but ATM didn't have time to check for an answer.
One thing, I found strange (and I wrote before):
When I disabled RW2 (and just left Vanilla game) tried Wavy Waters. Tested that place several times, and 15-30 minutes. No issue. The issue near Solitude is way less annoying.
That's I don't understand, how could it be, that this bug didn't appear with Wavy Water?
Thank You Boris!
I'll check TechAngel.
PS: I don't remember that I noticed that bug for instance month before...

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.383
You can use tfc to go inside water planes to see what is happening there with RW2 and without it in those buggy places. As you can see, there is one water placed lower than another one, like a sandwich. In vanilla game this was not seen.
About z-fighting issues, they still exist, just became different form and you can't see easily. But try to look at far mountains when using tfc and open console.

I took a quick glance - didn't look closely but the issue is probably caused by RW2 performing Worldspace modifications to change the pond water types among other things.

Just checked the texture sets added by the Footprints mod. Woah, there are a lot. This is going to take some time.mindflux wrote:You need to open the plugin with CK, edit the texture sets added by the mod (Object Window > TextureSet) and enable Alpha Testing.

Weird - I don't have this problem with Footprints (v 1.5.3)Martimius wrote:With the current ENB binaries there are blocky borders around the footprints from the Footprints mod.

Try with some snow mods.
