Boris, correct me if I get your word wrong, do you mean that fog reading code you fixed in test 5 would potentially cause the old SSAO bug that may or may not happen to users?
Because the test 5 and 6 fixed the old SSAO bug happened to me, 23 places I found formerly that used to have that bug are good now. These places covered almost all skyrim environments and times, so I'm 90% sure about that.
But it was exactly from test 5 that all of us encontered the new SSAO bug. Like mindflux, test 6 didn't work for me.
Also, I test them with edge AA disabled as you adviced, I believe those two are irrelevant because the new SSAO bug still appeared.
I think maybe it would be helpful to release a version with edge AA, but the fog reading code is the same like in 0.126 for us to test.
And from all these post in the topic, I think I might be the most buggy man here, got every existing bug married me...
So if most of us got the new SSAO bug fixed, and I got back the old SSAO bug with the test version I just suggested, then maybe it is that damn little fog code that caused everything.

I was just testing this. I may be wrong on the sliders, but I just saw this. Once I play with it again, I'll post screenshots.ENBSeries wrote:narphous

Still same bug, test6. I turned off adaptation and bloom so the bug is a lot more clear now (looked very different with adaptation and bloom)

Yes I believe so, bu I honestly haven't paid much attention to it since I use a high amount of SSIL and I'm used to flickering.0z9x8c7v wrote:May I ask if you had the another SSAO bug? I post it in this topic at page 1. The secend post.

It's odd, like I said I only get the bright flicks, nothing like that.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.132
I know this is probably somewhere back in the thread, but how exactly are you triggering this? I don't see anything like this at all on my supposedly buggy as crap GTX 680 with my supposedly buggy as crap 310.90 drivers. I'm asking because I want to see if I can trigger it in as similar a manner as possible. I have SSAO turned on as follows:jonwd7 wrote:Still same bug, test6. Re: TES Skyrim 0.132
Like I said in an earlier post, try turning your fov down. If I turn FOV to 50 it shows up way more easily. I have to find the right spot at FOV 85 and not move my mouse or it goes away. Are you saying yours goes away even without moving the mouse? A "flick" sounds temporary.mindflux wrote: jonwd7

Yes, that why I said 'flick' - I get blindingly bright flashes when I move, seemingly randomly. FOV doesn't seem to make a difference.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.132
I've always had stuff like that, even with vanilla skyrim. Both indoors and out. I'm always told "it's lighting mods". When I say I'm not using whatever lighting mod the poster blames, no one else responds. So, I just ignore it. I don't usually go looking for that kind of thing anyway.mindflux wrote:Yes I believe so, bu I honestly haven't paid much attention to it since I use a high amount of SSIL and I'm used to flickering.0z9x8c7v wrote:May I ask if you had the another SSAO bug? Re: TES Skyrim 0.132
Just tried test6, got the same green stuff when looking up. Sometimes it's red.
No weather mods installed, enb configuration default from 132 release, only ssao effect ON. No SMAA, SweetFX, no shader/shaderinput folders in data.
edit: vanilla? Let's try vanilla then xD
edit2: no, it looks ok to me.
edit3: test5 same thing

Haha I somehow get a feeling I'm getting to taste my own medicine...
Well, something's going on since I only experience the flicks with the latest test builds. Weirdly enough I don't get that green/red stuff. Might be driver related, as I'm still on 310.70, who knows... I guess I have to test a couple of ones to see if they make a difference.
