Like I said it works for Skyrim.
Fallout with exactly the same conditions and a fresh new install gives me a crash with the wrapper though.
And I'm absolutely careful about stuff running in the background so I can assure you that's not it.
/e
There even seem to be a few other people having problems with the wrapper on Win8.
I'm not saying that you should invest time in 'fixing' whatever seems to be wrong, since the Injector works just fine and it's probably Microsoft's fault, but just to let you know.

@Nifty Tifty,
You say i make it sound like your badgering Boris, but you did that entirely by yourself.
I'm just trying to get you to see that you shouldn't put the blame on everyone else but yourself.
But after this i won't reply anymore, cause it's like a vicious circle, it never seems to end.
So you produced a log huh ?
And you don't see that the ENB has nothing to do with these errors ?
Maybe you can resolve it with this, cause this file probably is the culprit.

And the steamapi messages seems to indicate that DX can't find steam, so you should start the game (FalloutNV.exe) from within the directory instead of with the steam shortcut.

@ENBSeries
Just a very quick question.
Is helper mod for fallout possible? =\ I know you already hate this game, but i'm just curious.
@Marcurios
Sorry, i still didn't PM you, busy with non-enb mods. I think it will take maybe week or two, and will i come back to enb and weather tweaking.

Possible, even simpler, but will not be created.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.225
So this is the last update for FO3/FNV then?
I do hope you'll at least consider adding some sort of subsurface scattering controls like in Skyrim.
But if you're set on not continuing this, well, it's a shame but I understand.

I know) Anyway, it was only my curiosity.ENBSeries wrote: will not be created.
I hope Alexander will make helper mod for other future games and ENB. Seems like possibilities of ENB with Helper mod are kinda limitless. And that's really cool)
Mod is not so popular like the mod for Skyrim or GTA, so kinda like that.cruelflames wrote:So this is the last update for FO3/FNV then?

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.225
Just an update on the no sunglare visible in NV from earlier. I read this on the extensive shaders post on the Skyrim nexus:
( "Nice package, mate! However, when I stare straight at the sun (this was when it was very cloudy), I get "TEST alpha channel" written all over the screen. Hasn't happened with other ENB's."
Reply
"You have to use a sunsprite texture that utilize the shaders, and without that alpha channel in the texture. Try one from this page, under Optional Files: K ENB Intensive." )
Confused???
Well, basically, Kyo released ExtensiveShaders and I thought I'd try them out in New Vegas.
Then I got the 'Test Alpha Channel' mentioned above.
I downloaded the sunsprites from the K ENB, popped one into NV, and voila:
I got sunglare.
As you can see it's pretty weak. But it's there. So it looks like the problem is with the default enbsunsprite.tga supplied with .225??
Just to be clear: I did NOT have 'TestAlpha' problems with the default files, but neither did I(nor anyone else) have sunglare. Now I do.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.225
@Dazaster,
Yes i know, i installed Kyo's shaders and i got sunsprite, so the wrapper is OK.
And i Always check the fx files and it mentioned that the alpha channel is used for sunglare, so i immediately pasted my sunglare in my tga file on the alpha channel, works ok too.
I also had the weak sunsprite and sunglare issue, so i added a adjustable setting in the shift-enter menu, now i can set the strength from 0 to 5.
If you don't know how to do that just adjust the intensity in the fx file.
Tip: if you use a sun.dds file that has a slightly bigger sun in the alpha, the sunsprites are good at the setting from Kyo rightaway, and a slightly bigger sun looks a lot better too.
