You don't need to bother about video memory optimization, pay attention to amount of ram used by process, because only this affect stability, not the amount of free vram.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.237

Boris was probably getting tired of having to explain stuff for the 1000x time.

If you would stop to think for a minute when you see "mod memory usage", and just let it sink in, then you would know it is not about your Fallout mods.
Only if you wander off in your head and think of all kinds of other possibilities you get confused and do not know anymore what it means.

But it is pretty straightforward imo.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.237

Oh ok you two. Relax, I understood the methods.

off topic: @Marcurios, FO3 is for me the best game all times, Game Design matters. But Gamebryos crap-thing, the game was not optimzed at all for a stable publish, lazy people on resolve asset things like wrong navemeshes, wrong tex etc, bugged quest scripting etc etc. And the main problem, I think they even got into Q&A department. Have you any hope for FO4 yet? I don't. Almost announces are fake at the moment. Also, I think all Studios are concentrating on MMOs, not big deal for Fallout's.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.237

I am relaxed.
Was merely saying stuff one could learn from.

There are a lot of other games that are better imo.
And i'm not really waiting for FO4, the lack of news have killed my interest for it, bad decision from Bethesda.
There are so many new and upcoming games that are good and promising that i won't miss it.

I'm glad that Boris made a almost perfect ENB for it, otherwise i would have trashed
the games already cause of the lack of proper lighting and stuff in the gamebryo engine.
Even Skyrim is fugly right out of the box, it needs ENB to be nice.

And I learn a lot with your posts, you can count on that!

Indeed Boris is the guy. I'll stop FNV someday (and FO3: maybe), Then I'll go into Skyrim WITH ENB for sure!

Right, there are astounding games around. But for me, FO3 is the best (despite FNV is more a spin-off than a sequel) because canonical concepts the game has. Originals, like Oblivion.

I thought Mass Effect trilogy had the best story of any game.
But i'm a sci-fi maniak..

Marcurios
You are very wrong, play PS2 japanese games, they have very complex storyline, all western games sucks compared to them (but controls awful for hardcore gamer).

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.237

I don't have a PS2, so i won't know.
But i'll take your word for it, but for me it's not the complexity of a story that makes a great experience.
It's mainly originality, but everyone has it's own taste, and i respect that, just thought Fallout isn't the best game in my experience.
And i liked the Mass Effect story from Drew Karpyshyn a lot, even better then his Star Wars.

ME, yes! Sad ME's modding possibilities aren't larger than Fallout's.

Re: Fallout 3 / New Vegas 0.237

I'm very satisfied with 0,237.

Running now with Nevada Skies and Dynavision 3 mix. The hint is to put [Sky] to off in enbseries.ini and messing a bit with gamma correction.

(you can correct me if I doing wrong)

Some glitches, but its natural once these mods are in action together, competing for the same resources, I guess.
