I agree. It's probably not very useful for players but players rarely mess with the ENB Preset parameters. This is a tool for authors to create better effects and possibly more performance friendly effects. The visualization tool has to be very important tool for me as an ENB preset modder.
I couldn't figure out why the image looked washed out until the AO visualize was enabled.
Here's the before and after image.

Also, the Reflection visualize is another great tool. I tried to find a way to create a mirror object in Skyrim, but this was the best I could produce. I had to put the complete white alpha channel to the shield normal map for the complete reflection. By using this tool, it led me to produce better reflection on my glass shield mod, and better understand about how Skyrim's normal texture alpha channel for the reflection.
