CruNcher, interested in what you find. I know the settings I use with ENB are pretty strenuous due to the reflections...if you don't mind looking at my preset as part of your evaluation, I would appreciate your comments on it. :)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157

Hmm, since I got my MSI Twin Frozr III R7950 this sends my fans into overdrive, lol.

Not the card being defective as it has done it with two different units (RMA'd the first after two weeks as it artifacted).

Not sure if it is driver related (tested with 13.1 through to 13.5 beta and they all seem to do the same), BIOS related (worth noting I never had this happen with the XFX R7950) or ENB Binary related. I notice that with this Binary it puts a lot more load onto the GPU than 0.155 (I also didn't have this with 0.155 which leads me to believe this is inherent to 0.157 or the card itself, or both). Also when I disable the ENB the fans power back down.

Any idea on how to better test this? Tempertures seem normal (56-57c at full load with 1ghz Core Clock and 1250 Memory Clock, VRM is just 2-3 degrees hotter) so no real reason for the fans to kick in really.

Other than that performance is great. Absolutely rock solid 45FPS exterior, and as smooth as silk. It's that smooth I'd be forgiven for thinking I was playing at a constant 60FPS.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.157

Only videodriver from bios decide when to activate fans and how, nobody knows except driver developers. From reports about image based lighting interior issue for some users i guess driver doing something wrong trying to predict result from computed but not used effect (it's not disabled for interiors, i'll turned it off in new unreleased version, for testing of this problem). Also when i change render targets in post processing, performance changes too, probably because with some of them driver need to flush previous unfinished tasks, when same render targets were used. I can't fix this, because i need fast videocard and cpu to notice the difference and both ati and nvidia (and even sli/crossfire).
