Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Boris also off-topic
I'm not going to get into a big fanboy rage, just gonna say, AMD has never done me wrong, ever. Even when bugs crop up in NVidia cards for ENB (like the notorious sun shining through objects bug) I've been able to update my drivers without a single problem (been using ATi/AMD for about 10 years now without 1 problem). And Boris, you have to admit, you're a bit of an NVidia fanboy yourself, what with all the jabs at AMD fanboys

Quick question about the wave amplitudes. Is 1.0 basically the vanilla baseline? I just wanna be sure what I'm tweaking

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
This may be somewhat off-topic, but I believe it is still relevant when considering the effects that current binaries have on Skyrim's memory management. A SKSE plugin has recently been made available on the Nexus (well, not recently, but I just became aware of it) which primarily addresses infinite loading screens, either by attempting to load too much data (e.g. loading exterior saves from the main menu with a lot of mods/textures installed) or while transitioning from known trouble areas such as Jorrvaskr and the Ragged Flagon. I tested this plugin a fair amount and it seems to work beautifully.
I know that Boris doesn't directly support anything that requires SKSE, but this still seemed to be something in a similar vein to what is available in current ENB binaries. Given that an increasing number of people will likely be using this plugin, there's a good chance it will be present in any scenarios of testing current and future ENB binaries.
Here's the mod in question: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/46465/?

All depends on the water mod / maps you're using.Jafin16 wrote:Back on-topic:

I'm using WATER 1.87 with additional custom displacement maps made by namaste_tf.
With these, setting amplitudes to 0.2 is more than enough, f.e. @1.0, it exagerates the effect a lot.

If your buddy had the money to buy Win 8, your buddy should have just get a better card than 4850 of whatever AMD or nVidia or even intel onboard with that money and stick to older windows. I personally find not one reason to upgrade to win 8 yet, and i will not find anytime soon.
Fail of choices i guess.

The 4850 is still quite a bit better than any Intel onboard gpu. But I agree. Fail of choices.DigitalPrinceX wrote:What i understand from reading-ENBSeries wrote:Offtop:

Wow this skse plugin is so awesome together with enb!!!Maeldun wrote:...

ENBs memory optimizations and the bug fixing of the plugin made it possible to load ugridtoload=15 with a modlist of more than 200 mods without problems!
Without ENB it will hit 3.3GB memory consumption while loading a savegame but with ENBs memory optimizations active TES5.exe is at 1.2GB end ENBhost 2gb.
That is pure magic!
Of course fps are very low on my system with drawing so much objects, but that can be fixed by getting a new card.

Version updated, download again

I don't have buddies who are such a fools to buy win8, he's just activated it somehow to test own software to prepare to gta5 modding if it will be x64 only. And it's very simple to blame others hardware if nothing else left to say about amd crap.
Jafin16
1 scale is my predefined amplitude, but it's also affect normals, so default for the game.
Maeldun
That mod have nothing in common with my changes.

Can you make SizeScale , SourceTextureScale for water reflections to let us adjust performance/quality or is it a stupid idea?
