Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
I think it is just your brain generate green look for this. You can try in photoshop paint other body color with brush option "multiply". Sure multiplication to the scene is incorrect, but it is how game made and what is the point to use its crappy ssao, i dont know. I can make other blending type, but its meanless when my mod have tweakable one (and as i remember, aomixtype=2 should look the same greeny).

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
that may be the case yes. but why does it looks so different compared to the Oldrim ENB in the same location with the same mods. The last pictures with enb are made with the ENB SSAO Mixtype 3. I have no clue how to fix that really. I am not using the original game SSAO only the ENB SSAO and that is what was strange. Because with the ENB SSAO it looked also greenish for me so I was thinking that it has something to do with the way orange or bright light is handled in Skyrim SE. But if you say everything is ok then I still don't know about that. But thanks anyways.
and that SSAO is not greenish for you?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
In old mod i have made deferred rendering which output albedo and extract all lighting information. In this game it is very compilcated to implement, so i try to mimic old look but it is not possible. Maybe one day i'll spend much time to make it right, but i dont think it will happen in nearest time. You must use indirect lighting to compencate this error, your brain or anybody else will try to compencate color loss compared to average yellow, but the code itself as multiplication is totally fine. Anyway, i'll make now special parameter which allow to switch game ssao blending to another type and hope it will look little better.

Fair enough. I did batch gimp all the ground LODs darker. But I figured it would provide a more generic solution and help with the poor distance grass fading in general. I agree with Boris comment though that it wastes otherwise useful AO in the distance.Dante_Draven wrote:Its easier to just adjust the texture that looks off to your ENB config, as we do with tree LODs. Take screenshots of where the grass is too dark and use them to check how much you need to lighten the grass textures (or darken the ground) on GIMP or similar.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
interesting. there is some good things about that. But I must say it doesn't seem to work well for the AO mix 3 but I don't know if thats intended. But definitly AO mix 2 and 1 is great. The AO seems to disappear on very bright lights and returning in shadowy areas or areas with less bright pointlight.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.330
New parameter for game ssao only. ENBSeries ssao is still the same and i gave you advice what to do about it
