Found bug issue with subsurface scattering, fixed it, will publish update soon.

KuroTenshi
The problem is that game engine is piece of crap (may be not gamebryo itself, but what bethesda done to it).
But I find it very somber when there are shadows. Maybe a mistake in my tweaks.
You mean colors darker? Are you sure? Try to find which variable/effect do this.

Anything else not fixed yet??? Anyone tried very extreme texture packs if they work? How about users with 4gb vram and 512mb vram? Smaller memory should increase lagging. Regarding alt+tab issue, probably i'll make borderless window instead of fullscreen mode, don't want to bother fixing it now.
Yes, colors darker. I'll try to find the variable which do this. You have my ENB preset so you can check too.

Boris
Didn't try latest now, but about extreme textures packs, I can give you an hint : no go. Don't work with memory optimizations on.
Crap, Bugthesda's job, not yours !
Thanx for all your efforts to make this shitty optimized game engine thing better.

All the texture problems are fixed for me. I'm using the ones from the STEP install with HRDLC optimized. From a few minutes testing the thing I noticed was AO effect being much less than it was before.

I agree with you. But it's an issue Bethesda never succeeded to correct. I never really played the game these 2 last years because of CTDs. Didn't even began the main story. 160 hours of TESTS, not PLAY ! It's an issue that concerns at least half of Skyrim players and modders. If Boris succeeds in correcting this, even a little bit, he will be our hero ^^.

Sorry for this selfish question, but do you plan to make a 0.192 version of K-ENB ?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.192

Hi, long time lurker of these forums.
I'm just wondering if there is supposed to be a small increase in vram with the new ram fix? The reason I'm asking is that I balanced out my textures so the game rarely reaches max video memory. At that point it tends to start shuffling textures around a lot and I get stuttering and may get CTD's. With the new ram fix vram seems to reach the max a lot more and generally run like 50-100ish mb higher then without.
Otherwise, the fix made everything more smooth in the game, especially loading new cells, and the ram usage is way down. It seemed much lower on the old dll file though, and it stayed under 1 gig all the time. With the new dll file the ram usage crept up to over 1.6gig at one time.

Here are some benchmarks:

Old DLL with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true:

Old DLL with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false:
http://i.imgur.com/0aVemrD.jpg

New DLL with ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true:

So you can see the vram push up to the limit with the memory fix on, but stays just under for the most part with it off. If this is a consequence of the fix I'll just reduce some textures, just thought I would mention it in case it wasn't.
Oh, and I'm using project matso shaders, if that matters.

Bit off-topic... Just kidding.
13-7-13 is done.
As soon as Boris, all users including myself will be satisfied with .192 results, yes, definitely. Release on Nexus is omething else... SO time consuming about support...
I'm much more involved in the sunsprite shader for now. Coding is another thing... especially for evoluted rookies :D (Boris has helped me through) But it's addicting. More than tweaking itself.

In your case, simply turn off the ReduceSystemMemoryUsage. It's RAM which trigger CTDs, not VRAM. According to me, it's GPU that must deal with graphics, not system...

Awesome, have not seen anything else yet :) Textures im using are SRO 2k textures, Vurt max res (3 different 8192x4098 tree textures). I could check with some 4k mountain textures.. making other landscape textures larger is no point their flat and shapeless enough already at 2k (could make max size for each texture tile larger inside ini, but size missmatch vs other non stretched textures will look way off) :>

It doesn't, whatever the shaders. Matso's files are optimized enough.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.192

Hi

Tested new version, game stutters a lot with memory fix enabled

Game uses a lot less RAM with fix enabled 1.5gb v 2.5gb average

But seems to use more Vram I have 3gb Vram and have never hit that before, Vram usage got to 3gb during a relatively small encounter and the game CTD when reached 3gb

I have a lot of texture mods, my Texture file is over 12gb and Data file total nearly 40gb, game runs relatively smoothly (60 fps with minor occasional stutter when loading and occasional CTDs) without this new fix, I use ATTK which helps with stability - tested with and without ATTK

New fix not usable at the moment with large texture packs
