Can't believe how much better it looks, or how worse it was to begin with...
Sun scattering does nothing for me, or rather, there is no difference between 0 and 1.
There is no difference either if I take an image, turn off lighting in the INI, then reload and take an image.
I have another comparison, facing the other direction (toward the sun) but there is no difference there either.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Boris, any chance we can get more control over the water shadows? Like opacity and color tint? To me, the water shadows never match the shadows on land which makes for a very jarring difference (you can clearly see this in jonwd7's first image).

Scattering visible always at low level computed when lighting enabled, adopted to color of water. With latest update it additionaly increased, but only for some angles, much more visible when sun is on horizon and camera looking on to the sun. Black water and low intensity of sun give nothing.

Shadows do not have tint and opacity, they can't. And land shadows fit to water shadows, because they are the same, just traced in several steps.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Boris, do you think it is correct to say that the opacity of a shadow on a water surface is a function of the water's murkiness? The water in Skyrim has a color attenuation property which simulates it's murkiness, is this something you have control over? Thanks for the amazing water effects!

Like I said I have another comparison facing the sun. I went ahead and took another comparison, at sunset, waiting for the sun to be as low as possible:ENBSeries wrote:jonwd7

LIGHTING OFF:
At no angle can I make it show up. At all angles and water types, there is zero difference multiplier 0 and 1. I have even overlayed the multiplier 0/1 images in Photoshop with a Difference filter.

Boris, okay. I guess what I am meaning is that the shadows on water are extremely dark compared to the shadows on land. Looks inconsistent.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Yes but it seems to me to make no sense Boris Streaming and compression implementation is very efficient and kapaer made the plugin to solve problems only based on these problems so it seems just to be additional overhead for a correctly configured ENB setup, personaly i can load a lot of Terain Data for Skyrim into 600 MB with Boris optimizations and streaming very well
So i see no real use this time for kapaers plugin he mad a lot of good ones but this time im skeptical i mean if i wouldn't use ENB i would give it a go, but unless that i want to hear what Boris says about it

Re: TES Skyrim 0.233
Boris said 1 page ago that it has nothing in common with his method. But that does not mean it won't work. The clash is at ENB's DisablePreloadToVRAM and that mod. Here the mod sticks to only fixing save related bugs and infinite load screen, DisablePreloadToVRAM has deeper impact than just save and loading. That is what i think, unless Boris has something to say about it.CruNcher wrote:Yes but it seems to me to make no sense Boris Streaming and compression implementation is very efficient and kapaer made the plugin to solve problems only based on these problems so it seems just to be additional overhead for a correctly configured ENB setup, personaly i can load a lot of Terain Data for Skyrim into 600 MB with Boris optimizations and streaming very well
