Re: Fallout 4 0.288
I get less of a performance hit with Inject SMAA than the Reshade SMAA. I get like +2-4FPS.

Re: Fallout 4 0.288
Really??? Interesting... I run ENB + Inject SMAA on my custom Skyrim setup, but I never added ReShade to the mix. Do you think maybe you are perceiving the FPS hit to be bigger because ReShade has more effects on it. Also, if you are only using the SweetFX stuff out of ReShade, there is a custom ReShade with just SweetFX that turns off some of the Depth stuff that is supposed to free up some fps from what I've read. Either way, if it works for you and you are happy, that's all that matters. I was just curious really. Thanks.

@kingeric
With regard to the 'reverse' adaptation issue shown in my video in this thread, one place it can easily be seen is the Railroad HQ:

Sorry, I do not know the COC value for this location... >.<

Re: Fallout 4 0.288
I'm running at "please melt my GPU while I play FO4" status at the moment, and am using many of the Reshade Framework features from McFX and GemFX currently (AO, Ambient Lighting, Gaussian Blur, Gaussian Anamflare, ect) so I can't jump down to SweetFX. I'm working on porting a few features from Framework into ENB, but I haven't found the time. As more shaders come out (shout out to --JawZ-- for the modular shader library!) I plan to put as much into ENB as I can and lighten my Reshade load. I spent a lot of time switched between in-game TAA (which made me feel like I was having a stroke at times), Reshade SMAA, Reshade SMAA + FXAA (which was second best to my eye), and Inject SMAA testing for performance/graphic quality using Fallout Performance Monitor and found Inject SMAA gave me a little extra FPS (I also like the way Inject SMAA looks so maybe I'm just getting placebo effect, but it did seem to give me a boost). I've struggled pretty hard to find an AA solution that I like for FO4 (ditto AO) as I've pretty much declared "meh" at the available in-game options (the in-game AO hurts it's so crappy). I run around 38-45FPS, which isn't awful (I don't care for how pretty it looks).
@Boris - are you planning on implementing water dispersion or parallax effect? I see that SparrowPrince is already prepared for this, lol. Regardless, I'm very excited to see where you take ENB. Thank you so much for sharing this epicness with us!

@tapioks
looks like both adaptation textures behave differently.
the coc for railroad HQ is railroadhq01 if anyone want to do some testing.
@boris
don't know if this is a bug on my end, but when toggle off EnableAdaptation, it just switch to original adaptation?

Re: Fallout 4 0.288
Yes, it's a bug in 0.288 for bloom and adaptation textures when vanilla are always enabled if enb versions disabled.

Re: Fallout 4 0.288
Awesome! I can't wait for that!
This is silly, and off-topic, but I thought Boris might get a kick out of it. My wife's favorite mod for all of Skyrim is ENB water dispersion (out of like the zillion mods I've installed for her she always says the water effects are her favorite), and she consistently spends inordinate amount of time staring into rivers and such when she plays. She's even taken to just walking around Skyrim trying to find pretty rivers and lakes, lol. She keeps asking when it'll be available for FO, so I'm hoping I can trick her into loving TES with guns using your water dispersion to hypnotize her. =P

@kingeric1992
Thanks for looking int o this. It does seems to be the case that these behave differently, just from testing in the game. Is there anything that can be done, or better just to stick with the vanilla adaptation for now?looks like both adaptation textures behave differently.

Re: Fallout 4 0.288
Don't know what you trying to look at, adaptation works the same way as it should, both mine and vanilla. Simply read it as texture at the end of the shader to see it. Any issues only have two cases: 1) game bug with parameters for adaptation; 2) at certain place game use different code, unhandled by the mod (in this case enbeffect.fx will not work at all).
