Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Why not simply use quality 0?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Well -1 is higher quality than 0 is it not? :|

True enough Boris knows it better, but I think the value refers to the distance at which the detailed shadows are drawn, and this case, it looks like with -1 there will be shadows drawn on relatively low angle geometry at moderate distance. At least on earlier builds you would also get shadows drawn to eye sockets at relatively far distance which looks scary.
Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
this still happens even in "0"(and "1")
changing ShadowCastersFix, ShadowQualityFix, UseBilateralShadowFilter won't help either.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Then that's odd. What FOV are using?
I guess the game settings in Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini could also have some effect. Have you tried restoring them, ie. moving the old ones away and letting the game create new ones?

On the contrary, decreasing quality will help. I don't remember now, but did changes to fix another issue with these shadows. Problem actually happen because of triangles are parallel to sun light direction and they are not curvy, so not an easy to apply various offsets and compute smoother fading to darkness. I'll check this later.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Would it be possible to recreate this light model in Skyrim with ENB Boris ?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Skyrim version have similar math as GTA 4 version, if you want such screenshots, then import these roads, cars, etc to the game. To make fantasy world photorealistic is almost impossible, because of 3d modellers and texture makers who work with such games.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.117 beta
Boris, I cannot seem to make any other temp keyboard variable work but tempF1.x which corresponds to key combination "1" + PgUp/Dwn. My assumption is that tempF1.y corresponds to key "2" and so forth, however, there appears to be no effect at all except for tempF1.x. Am I doing something wrong?
