The Elder Scrolls Skyrim (TES Skyrim, Скурим Свитки)

Graphic mod ENBSeries 0.145

Modified ssao/ssil, it's slower than in previous version, but less noisy. Added new filtering types for it, current available are 0-4, where 0 is slowest and 4 is same as old filter. Filter quality is act the same as before (amount of passes).

FilterType=4 is exact same SSAO as enb 144?

Update to my performance problem from previous thread. Changing iShadowMapResolution=4096 to iShadowMapResolution=2048 in SkyrimPrefs helps a lot. I always had it at 4096 before though. Not sure there is much of a quality difference.

edit: Skyrim not loading at all with enb 145.

I did mistake with names of libraries, rename d3d9 to enbseries and vice versa or download mod again.
Ssao type is not filter type, there is no ssao like in 0.144

So what FilterType should I use to get close to 144?

Here is the screenshots of ssao only with all 4 filter types (in game mostly visible when moving)

Also filters, ssao itself, texture downscaling (SourceTextureScale<0.8) modified to reduce aliasing/flickering issues, triangulation near the character skin, distance fade. These changes to quality, i don't care about ssao performance any more.

Type 0 is very crisp and clean. But on vegetation it looks like I turned the sharpness way up on my monitor and the leaves/foliage are pix-elated.

Looks like AOAmountInterior(probably AOAmount too) and perhaps AOIntensityInterior(probably AOIntensity too) may have to be increased for 145 compared to 144 or am I just imagining things? I've probably just looked at it too much to be objective.

*Sigh* So much for sizescale=1, it was fun while it lasted. Boris wasn't lying when he said SSAO would be slower. Toning down sizescale made it livable. Playing with the different filter types has been interesting. 0 is just too harsh. Perhaps subdivide the filters further? I dunno, I still like the softer look of 4. AO does look much more dark, my next task is to tone down it's amount/intensity. Not seeing anything I'd call a bug. I will say that this version has really reduced the issue of pronounced geometry, things appear MUCH smoother. I have a couple of places, face textures, some walls, just places I got used to seeing very defined and ugly lines where polygons met. Out of curiosity I loaded up 144, and yup, it seems to be something Boris did in 145 that has better masked this.

Edit: ok, so i found an area with a light coating of interior fog, it makes the ssao really pronounced. Switching to the different filter types in there let me see the difference in the filters. I think i see what you're after, Boris. Filter 1 seems to be a good balance.
