Re: TES Skyrim 0.170 beta

FileName=aaa.ini <what file would this be and where is it located?
In enbseries folder and it's generated automatically if not exist.
[WEATHER001]
FileName=aaa.ini
[WEATHER002]
FileName=aaa.ini
Invalid, two weathers can't share same file (they can, but it's wrong).
For multiple weathers using the same settings, would it look like this
Yes

Oyama is right Boris. People will download whichever binary has the best presets made for it. Who makes the best presets? Those that are on these forums and these users are "Pro" users.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.170 beta

@evok99,

Initially I was hoping for a "Pro" version as well, but that was a selfish idea, and I understand why Boris decided not to do it. The ENB Series is meant to be a tool that people can use to customize the way their game looks. Limiting the user base to only a few advanced users would jeopardize the core concepts of why it was created in the first place. The only reasonable way to go "Pro" is by learning how to use the Creation Kit to make the serious modifications to the original graphics, then you can add the customized ENB preset afterwards.

I've decided to take the Summer off from Skyrim and the Nexus, but when or if I return, my final preset will be a result of the method described above.

Note: --JawZ-- has extensive plans for ELE that involves a great deal of work in the Creation Kit. It's very likely that most users will not need to make changes to the base ELE design. Configuring the ENB preset for it will be a straight forward process from that point.

I see your point, and this is true as well....
Ach, whatever...

Boris
One of the many time we talked about that separated bloom thing (sorry for that :D ), you told me you could indeed add some "hidden" vars in shaders, thus doing introducing kind of a "Pro" control *IN* the global thing. Hidden part of the iceberg.
Maybe it's way to go... Don't know.

@Oyama,

Yeah, I was very hyped up about it, but my judgment was clouded by delusions of grandeur. :lol: Hey, at least Boris will be adding more features to it later along with the bloom separation. There's still alot to be excited about. ;)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.170 beta

Sorry for the annoyance but does anyone have a copy of the 0.170 binary? Like many others it's not available for download anymore.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.170 beta

Hi Boris, minor issue that becomes more relevant when trying to line up screenshots; seems that while the game is paused (using TFC 1), the helper mod (I suspect) loses track of what weather it is forces ENB to reverts to its default. This happens after about 30 seconds or so.

I notice that the NightDayFactor switches to 1.0 when SunriseTime is met, not an issue but I would have thought it would hit 1.0 when DayTime is met.
