TES Oblivion 0.180

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion (TES Oblivion, Обблевон)

Graphic mod ENBSeries 0.180

Removed detailed shadows, fixed some bugs (which i have myself). Added shadow blurring for vanilla shadows, this is better than detailed shadows (turn on self shadowing in game video options). Unfortunately detailed shadows have bug with hair alpha, that's why i decided to remove them. Original game shadows allow to set manually their resolution (256*256 by default) in oblivion.ini, so they will not differ much from detailed.

Re: TES Oblivion 0.180

Did a quick test of the new binary and it seems most of the obvious old bugs are fixed, a few old ones remain and a new bug with the new shadows with screenshots and save games below. This was tested with the steam version of Oblivion with all the official DLC and no other mods. Settings are on ultra with AA turned off, HDR on, actor self shadowing on, and driver settings all application controlled.

Better example of ShadowBlurring making the shadow bright in Vilverin http://www.mediafire.com/download/w5gkb ... lverin.ess

UseEffect = On not lighting the characters hair properly in certain dungeon lighting which it does with vanilla http://www.mediafire.com/download/7mtnc ... Effect.ess

Sunsprite texture appears on characters hair instead of the regular lighting with UseEffect On http://www.mediafire.com/download/fnl8r ... n_hair.ess

I'm not sure you would consider these results valid however as I did this test on an AMD 7970 with 13.6 beta drivers installed as I don't have my NVIDIA 680 at the moment.

It's vanilla anisotropic reflection, unfixable, i can only disable it completely.

Re: TES Oblivion 0.180

Fixed bug with hair wrong lighting (and other objects which have similar bug), but now can't find what is wrong with shadows, they work when loading inside sewer and if i exit to exterior and enter to sewers again, shadows start acting strange like on your shots. Btw do not post next time such dark images, on crt display black color is black, not gray.

Thanks for the good work boris :D

I'll be sure to keep the lighting in mind when I do screenshots. Is it correct to assume your CRT monitor has more contrast and darker blacks than most LCDs displays?

Re: TES Oblivion 0.180

On crt display black image viewed in full screen looks like display is not working at all even with maxed brightness and contrast.

Is that a more accurate rendering of brightness and contrast than modern LCDs or less?

Re: TES Oblivion 0.180

Do you believe black should be gray?

Re: TES Oblivion 0.180

Guess I have my answer then, CRT is black where LCD is grey (but should be black), didn't mean any offense just checking I understood what you were saying ;)
