Boris
Thanx !! Will be very interesting to try your downsampling feature, great thing !
Will do several tests with different scenarii and report back
Logically, will be better to downsample via ENB rather than via drivers.

Downsampling eyh, definitely try that one out
EDIT;
Piece a cake to enable downsampling now , I can see how Oyama's pictures turns out so great, or at least part of why they turn out so great

Two, maybe three sentences to point a semi-noob into the right direction? Pretty please?--JawZ-- wrote:Piece a cake to enable downsampling now
Is there still need to configure custom resolutions in Windows/driver and/or Skyrim, or does this now kinda "simulate" it? I did not notice any diffence when enabling it in the ENB settings, so pretty sure I am missing something... LOL
P.S.: didn't you guys tell Boris to calm down a bit and relax for a few days?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.199
I haven't really dived into to the driver downsampling method so don't know of this is the proper way to do it.
But I figured that the setting Boris introduced only allows a higher resoltuion to be used and placed on the screen inside the monitors frames and not extend it outside the edge of the screen.
So tested and it worked.
go inside the skyrimpres.ini and if you used a 1920x1080 resolution multiply the values with 2 so you get 3840x2160 and add it as your resolution while having the AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions set to true.
Only noticed that the screen capture function only captures the native resolution of the monitor and that the "LEVEL UP" text from level menu is constantly on the non menu screen. Menu's in general works fine and are is visually the same size as without ENB downsampling.
Will post picture of the level up text here below.
EDIT;
The text "LEVEL UP", I cut this out from the picture below.
And how the ENB screen capture method works, I tried FRAPS and it captured extended beyond the border of the monitor instead.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.199
Skipped a few parts there but open up the Skyrimprefs.ini and change these lines, of course;
[Display]
iSize H=2160
iSize W=3840
[Display]
iSize H=2160
iSize W=3840

I've been downsampling with an AMD card for months. They're more than capable of handling it.
