What about upgrade from 2gb (gtx 680) to 3 or 6gb? Already have 12gb ram. Will it be worth? I'm so tired with fighting with infinity screens. Also does anyone have sli setup with two 2gb cards?
I have sli of two 680 (2x2gb) and 16gb ram...207 works very well..
How many do you have mods/texture packs installed? Just read that the vram on second card is mirrored, so will be still 2gb for game.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.207

VRAM doesn't cumulate with SLI / XFire setups.
2 x 2 GB VRAM cards will still be 2 GB VRAM.

0.206 beats 0.207 for me even with 4 fps less. Did couple runs and each time I went thru a forest I get slight stutter on almost all turns and kinda rubberband effect while moving forward.
My eyes are alittle tired just after 2 runs. Also got a 0.5 sec spike with another tiny spike right after on a place I never had any before, odd part was that the normal ones was gone :>

Re: TES Skyrim 0.207

you see, right away I am not fully understanding, and have never understood this.

ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true

So, this boggles me, expand system memory, but then reduce it? lol so clearly I am missing a lot, perhaps somebody could explain these a bit further.

Cheers.

Upgrade from 2 to 3 gb is useless for your case. To 6 only if you see in SPM that vram usage is greater than 3 gb after you press f4 key (to free vram) and rotate camera around to reload textures.

Yersinia79
0.206 and 0.207 not differ, except memory statistics which unimportant for your case as a lot of vram free on your rig. I think it's just your imagination.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.207

Users on Nexus reporting freezes and one with titan have very crappy performance. I don't understand this, if vram is huge and in 0.207 i'm not limiting it, how in the hell freezes occur? Don't think it can be fixed as don't know how to get issue myself. Anyone here have same problem?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.207

Hi,

I am new to the forum but I wanted to try and get involved, I started using ENB a few months ago, and I have been keeping up with the latest ones for the last few weeks.

The reason I am following with such interest is that I have a good PC and never felt SKYRIM used anywhere near the potential of my PC, so this held much interest for me.

I would like to try and understand more of what sort of settings I should be using/trying with a PC such as mine, and I am happy to give feedback and get involved as much as I can.

Here is my PC.

3930K@4.7 (6 real cores)
16GB 2133Mhz QUAD channel RAM
2x Nvidia Titan in SLI with 6GB VRAM.
2x Samsung 830SSD in RAID-0

There are no more resources I can give SKYRIM to get the information from HDD (SSD) to my TV screen any quicker, it's all down to coding/software optimization.

I am currently using ENB 207 with ENB Evolved Cinematic preset (although I remove the black bars)

I play at 60hz 60FPS with VSYNC on using a Controller (Xbox) I use default Skyrim.ini and prefs only adjusting what is advised by ENB.

The only thing I add in Skyrim.ini is iFPSClamp=60 as without this I get horrid HORRID micro stuttering which ruins my experience.

95-98% of the time I have the 60FPS I require (with my PC bit of a joke it's not 100% - but that's life) biggest problem I seem to have is stuttering, which seems to be when traveling, moving along the map, like, almost like, it's loading new stuff - this is what interested me so much about these 'MEMORY OPTIMIZATIONS' because I have plenty of it, not just plenty, but it's FAST as hell - so, I feel with the right optimization there is no PHYSICAL reason I should be getting stutters AT ALL.

So here I am, wanting to get involved and learn as much as I can, I hope I can help myself, and others in the process.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.207

I finally managed to post my original post (see above)

ENB Series I am unable to quote your post. (MORE SPAM PROBLEMS)

So, in response to your post, I have 2 Titans and 207 is working great for me, I want to help but having 4 out of 5 of my attempted posts blocked due to this spam thing has got me off to a very bad start and in a bad frame of mind.

Can anything be done so I can speak?

EDIT I just had to edit my (this) post again and remove a perfectly normal word so I could post honestly I am done with this
