Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta
I appreciate this! Ambient Occlusion makes the character look amazing. When I disable all effects it looks like there is is still some ambient occlusion which drops my performance to 40-55fps, when I enable ambient occlusion it goes to 25-35. Crashing occurs on load it looks like, sometimes while trying to load my save. I am running on Windows 8 on a gtx 770 though, how is it for everyone else?

Edit: I died and came back which was awesome, normally it crashed on load screen, it still crashes when I warp.

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta
Fantastic news. Now I wish we'd had this in Dark Souls as well. I hope you give it some time Boris. Once people have configs up, more people will come flocking. As it is, it'll take me some configuring before I have something decent, I bet.

Do I have to disable anything in the in game settings, such as anti-aliasing? Also thanks for making this! A lot of PC gamers have been screwed over by downgrade in visuals because of consoles, but your mod makes it possible to fix that!

Haven't seen it yet. I'm still taking baby steps though. If anyone manages to get this to work with GeDoSaTo, let us know.

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta
I'm jealous I'm having a bug where I have some weird bar at the bottom of the screen... I think I read somewhere else with the same problem. Don't really know what's causing it.

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta crashes
Hi there I'm unfortunately getting crashes almost every time I try and load a save, sometimes it lets me in and holy shit the game looks instantly 10 fold better but then the next time I warp or die it's another 9 out of ten chance it'll crash. I have tried both injector and wrapper lots of times with no luck, for the record I am not using durante's tool just standard game with nothing hooking into it. Any help is really appreciated thanks and all the best to you.

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta
Apparently in some areas I'm also getting that AO ghosting mentioned earlier. For instance in the area with the first bonfire in "Things Betwixt".
But damn how much of an improvement is possible in this game.

nvm it was an issue with 16:10 resolutions. No more weird bar.
