Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta

Hi Boris,

I was wondering if it is possible to use this version of the mod with the first Dark Souls. I've put some hours of tweaking and testing with vanilla and DSfix 2.2, ENB launches but I haven't managed to get it to work. If it is not possible, are there any chances of getting a backport for the first game?

Thanks

EDIT: @Oyama Ninja!

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta

Still getting crashes constantly at random, either in loading screens or even just walking about. I am running a gtx 680 on windows 7, the problem is only from enb, I can use GeDoSaToTool and play for 10+ hours without a single crash but it looks nowhere near as good. I am not using GeDoSaToTool at the same ime as enb though as i removed it thinking that may be the conflict. I'm wondering what it is that's causing these for me as they obviously don't happen everyone and I feel like I've spoiled my experience by seeing how much better the lighting is with enb but not being able to play with it. Would it maybe be that I'm using a pirated copy? I will buy this game immediately when I get paid in a week but I couldn't wait any longer lol.

Your SSAO by itself is worth buying a game, hell ! :)
Boris, be blessed, and be cursed at the same time for making me tweaking again
Well it looks like I will have to buy this game after all

Oyama - would be great to see some of your presets again - my new system is itching for a workout! ;)

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta

I'm having a lot of crashes as well.
Like someone said before, it's like 1/10 loads are working.

Win 8.1 and Nvidia's wonder driver here.

But don't let us discourage you, Boris! I've been extremely excited when I saw that you did a version for DS2.

Hmmm, not a crash on my side. Win7 + last beta drivers.
Strange :?:

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta

Strange indeed. But it doesn't keep me from tweaking.

By the way, what's the best way to use the integrated ENB menu in DS2?
Opening some of DS2's option menus works to a degree, but it's a bit tedious? Better idea anyone?

/e

And Oyama, anything special you're doing? Did you disable any of DS2's graphical effects?
Forcing Vsync, changing some Nvidia Inspector flags?

I am currently playing with DUrantes MOd, but maybe i'll switch to ENB once the 'ENB masters' here share some of their configs, the one in NEXUS seems unstable i read. Fantastic game! :)

Re: Dark Souls 2 0.253 beta

Okay, tried to use the Injector version, since Midhras presence reminded me of the wrapper+Win8 incompatibility of FO3 and FO:NV.
Isn't working either, BUT Boris, you need to change the enbinjector.ini's lines to DarkSouls2's exe, instead of the Skyrim ones.
Just so you don't get any error reports from new users using the Injector.

Nope, not at all. I let the DS2 profile as it is set via NVI, vsync is set to application controlled and standard. Nothing forced.
I may fiddle a bit with SLI compatibility bits, since the default profile doesn't scale that good, but that's all.
Game wise, I didn't activate/deactivate anything crucial.
A Win8 thing ?....
