Any news about the PreDark's Skyrim Upscaler (DLSS) compatibility?

Thanks

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

Thanks for the update !

Now, really sorry to report another weird thing with the glossiness setting under the [WETSURFACES]
It's not the bug with just the latest version, and I'm not even sure it is a bug or if something can be done to change this:

On wet surfaces the glow or reflection from light sources disappears when I'm getting closer:

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

It's screen space effect, why there should be something what is not on the screen?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

In the middle image you can see that the glow is starting to disappear, even with the light source on the screen.

In real life it doesn't matter if the light source itself is in the field of view or not - the glow should be visible no matter what.
It just feels wrong when I see the glow disappear from the background when getting closer - it's coming from a static object and should stay in place.

Is there any way to disable this dynamic change from this screenspace effect, or replace it with a static effect that's tied to a light source ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

I dont care what happens in real life and there is no way to do anything, it's very simple effect with one step tracing only and will never be improved to the better because of huge performance impact to do it as ssr.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

Just out of curiacity - how big would be the performance impact if doing it as ssr, but in a limited range with fading out at the edges ?

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

First of all, i will not do it as ssr ever. This effect was made to be fast as much as possible, but still it's very costly cause of cache misses which can't be avoided at all, it's how hardware works. With ssr only get new bugs from tracing errors of screen space limitation, plus several times slower performance. Don't even discuss this, take it and live with it.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.493

Even though 0.493 is the most recent version numerically, 0.491p on Patreon still has optimizations not present in 0.493 yes?
Basically the Patreon version is still ahead of the public version from a feature perspective?
