Post subject:  Serious performance drop in skyrim with v0.236

Hello

I was previously using Enb v 0.201 with no issues at all (aside from some occasional stuttering) and was getting a constant 30fps at least. I have just tried v0.236 and the game is now unplayable - my fps have drop to around 0.6fps.

I have checked all the ini files to mak sure that there is nothing enabled that wasnt there with the previous version, and to make sure i dont have any fps limit set, which there isnt. I am completely stumped... I have noticed one very strange thing - if i look up at the sky, the issue goes away and my fps go back up to 30, but upon looking back down at the land, my fps hit a wall.

If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Turn off memory manager in enblocal.ini

Thanks for the reply Borris.

I disabled memory management as you suggested (DisableDriverMemoryManager=true) in enblocal.ini. Just tried the game again, but stil the same thing - 0.6 fps.

But your suggestion got me thinking... So i played around with the memory settings in enblocal.ini and found a solution - it seems it wasnt the memory manager setting that was the issue, it was 'ReduceSystemMemoryUsage' which is default 'true', i changed it to false and this fixed it, now back to normal fps. :)

I would suggest that this setting be set to 'false' by default, instead of 'true'

Thanks again ;) .

No way, it's memory manager and if you lazy to set it properly, i don't care.
