Hello all. I'm new to this enb stuff and cant figure something out. I go to nexus and grab sharpshooter extreme. I then follow the tutorial by gopher and do everything he said. The following are the problems i have:
1. Game is incredibly choppy. Like slow mo choppy.
2. All edges in game are not smooth and are rather jagged
3. Game is smooth while navigating menus
4. Upon loading into a game, it takes forever. I actually have to task manager to see that skyrim is not responding. eventally ill wait it out and the above happens.

Now, i highly doubt its my computer since i can run skyrim on utlra plus many hd mods. Also run bf4 on high and still at 60fps. I have a feeling something is wrong in the install. Bc it feels broken not performance. Any suggestions? Is their some basic step that i missed that doesnt exist in the walkthrough install??

what's important to follow is only this part, SkyrimPrefs.ini ,make the necessary adjustments and thats all. just put all contents from zip file into the install folder of Skyrim. make the necessary adjustments in the enb menus (SHIFT+ENTER) i have used that presets before, good choice. also turn off Afterburner or any overclocking programs. Those does NOT make the game faster but the opposite.

Turns out that ENB do not work well with laptops bc of onboard graphics. It somehow ignores the primary gpu and uses onboard.

The only known way around this is using the injector versions and not wrapper.

Have you tried this yet: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33227/?. It's what did the trick for me. There's a readme file inside the downloaded archive.
You do have to manually link Skyrim to Nvidia through the Nvidia menu. In game it will still say that you're using your onboard graphix but you'll see an increase in FPS, so I suppose that's just a little bug somewhere. Be sure to check your skyrimprefs.ini as well. Problems usually are situated there as well.
Good luck!
