Anyone got any idea why me framerate is halved after playing for approximately 5 minutes?

I get this with pretty much every ENB and after countless hours of reinstalling skyrim and trying different ENB's thinking i installed them incorrectly even after following the installation instruction to the point this is more or less a last resort.

The ENB i currently have installed is Phinix Natural ENB: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24 ... w%3D&pUp=1

Here are the other mod's that i am attempting to get an ENB working with:

Unofficial Skyrim Patches (all except Hi res DLC Patch)
Stable UgridsToLoad (Ugrids set to the default of 5)
SkyUI
Skyrim Shadow Striping Fix
Safety load
Less Intrusive HUD
Immersive HUD
Double Cursor Fix

Here is my spec (Nothing is overclocked):

GPU: EVGA 780ti w/ ACX cooling

CPU: Intel i7 4770K

MOBO: MSI Z87 GD65

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb

CPU COOLER: Corsair H100i

SSD: Samsung EVO 840 120gb

SSHD: Seagate 2tb SSHD


I am MORE than willing to post more information (ini's etc).

This is probably because video memory get full while ENBoost enabled and it starts frequently reload data. Try to change VideoMemorySizeMb and ReservedMemorySizeMb parameters (post yours here).

Your setting looks correct. Then here are steps for helping to detect is it issue with memory setting or not:
1) Set quality of textures in video options to medium or even low, run the game and check if performance will degrade, it may, but much later. If fps do not fall any more, then it's memory setting somehow not optimal for you and must be tweaked in experimental way.
2) This step is only if previous prooved that issue with memory setting. Restore highest quality of textures in game video options. Set VideoMemorySizeMb=2700 and ReservedMemorySizeMb=512, then try to play, if issue still exist, then set VideoMemorySizeMb=5000 and ReservedMemorySizeMb=256. If issue not solved, set DisableDriverMemoryManager=true and try again with 2700 and 5000. If not fixed, i don't know, it's abnormal.

I have this same issue when transitioning from interior to exterior. 50 % of the time i get only half FPS after this.
Restarting the game helps.

Same issue.
Also helps switching task (Alt-Tab) from Skyrim to desktop and back.

Та же проблема. Происходит только на внешних больших локациях типа "глобальная карта" или "город"(Вайтран, Солитьюд и т.д.), и только после перехода из внутренней (даже такой маленькой как дом в городе).

Я тестировал пару дней назад, многократно переключая локации между интерьером и экстерьером, не вижу такой проблемы и по отладочной статистике нет memory leaks, память высвобождается каждый раз правильно.

Видимо моя проблема в использовании большого числа пользовательских HiRes-модов на текстуры.
Я, кстати, использую Ваш Skyrim Memory Patch - большое Спасибо за его создание.

Если можно, ещё один вопрос от нуба:
Есть ли возможность (пусть даже теоретическая) оптимизации быстродействия эффекта Depth of Field?
Пробовал изменять в соответствующем разделе параметр Quality - видимого прироста в производительности не заметил. Эффект очень хорош, но отбирает на моей конфигурации 25-30% в ФПС.

Depth of field шейдер я не писал, поэтому оптимизировать его не мне. А вообще можно, где-то здесь была ссылка на оптимизированный, наверно в Presets категории форума.

I have known this to be an issue for a long time, it has been well discussed in some ENB forums on Nexus.

Its been a puzzle indeed specially as the FPS is exactly halved each time. Like said by another user I have had this issue when going from inside to outside. The ALT-TAB works when it comes to temporary fixing it, but what is the ALT-TAB doing to miraculously fix it ?
