Hey guys, I've been messing around with effect settings, disabling ones that are most FPS intensive (DoF, Ambient Occlusion), but none of them have any effect on FPS? I'm saving my config, and applying the changes, but nothing at all... I'm playing with Fire and Storm ENB with CoT installed. I generally have an FPS ranging from 20-30 (rarely 30) outside, and 30-40 inside playing on medium graphical settings.

Here are my specs:
GPU: Geforce GT 750m
CPU: Intel i7-47000MQ CPU @ 2.4GHZ
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Using version 340.52 Geforce Drivers

Is this normal? I was under the impression half the settings would increase my FPS. If I was wrong, what could I do to possibly increase FPS?
Thanks for all the help in advance!

This is not because of mod, if something turned off, performance always change. But because game use mulithreading and very bad implementation of it, hard to say what is the bottleneck, especially for laptop which differ a lot from desktops. Mod affect only graphics (0.119 and similar versions with antialiasing enabled also decrease performance by CPU, because of extra draw calls), so i guess your are cpu limited by the game, may be it runs on logical cores instead of physical (hyperthreading), or it's just another thing laptop only.

Will edit enbseries.ini, save it, switch to Skyrim again and then APPLY CHANGES in GUI work?

Laptops are known to cause problems.

That didn't seem to work, I'll keep trying and messing with settings though.

Okay, so I was messing around with two ENBs (Fire and Storm and Poupouri's Presets), and managed to get a nice stable FPS outside, with a high end ENB. I took Fire and Storm's enblocal and enbeffect configs and replaced Poupori's and that seemed to boost my FPS.
