Hello guys!
Could somebody help me plz...
I killed my skyrim.INI from My docs/my games/Skyrim folder.
And the reason I did it - adjustment parametrs to solve problem with shadows.
Any time I look at my char or other NPC I can see very terrible shadows from hairs or elements of clothes on the char model. But other shadows (from char/NPC or other objects) on ground surface look nice.
Unfortunately i can`t attach screenshot right now, but it ll be great if somebody share *.ini files from My docs/my games/Skyrim folder.
Thanks in advance.
UPD:
nice shadow
bad one

Re: Shadows from char
try:
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048
iShadowMaskQuarter=5
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=4
fShadowDistance=1024
fInteriorShadowDistance=1024
fShadowLODMaxStartFade=1000.0
fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=2000.0
fGrassStartFadeDistance=1024.0000
fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=2048.0000
fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=400.0000
P.S.
acceleration layer, may spoil shadows. Check it.

Re: Shadows from char
You need to make it like this?
The problem is that just a setting to change. This fShadowDistance. The smaller the better shadows on character. The more, the more visible shadows in the distance. According to this, you can not find the optimum.
So if you love to do Landscape screens, you will need to set the default settings (4000-8000). And if the character is 500.
I probyval change other options, but no change.

Re: Shadows from char
Jokes aside the mods that reveal skin are great for testing settings with shadows.
