Hi. I have been trying to find a fix for this but I can't find anything that solves it unless I use version .102.

This is a screenshot with enb .102 in the dawnstar santuary: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/826/tesv2012091118253647.jpg/
And this is the same area with version .119: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/12/tesv2012091118302622.jpg/

Other fires show, that I have noticed it's just those with woods on the ground. I haven't noticed any problems with fire spells, candles or torchs.

I also had a bug with shadows,
v0.102: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/607/tesv2012091118244555.jpg/
v0.119: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/821/tesv2012091118315117.jpg/
but I found a fix for it in another thread that reduced it a lot. I mentioning it because they might be connected. I have a Ati Mobility Radeon 3650 HD.

Is there any fix or do I have to use v0.102?

You have old drivers or incompatible videocard, f.e. intel or radeon 3xxx and lower. There are some other conditions at which these bugs occur, but they are all because of vendor hacks used by game, 10% chance that it's fixable for you. Try delete skyrimprefs.ini and install from scratch 0.119 (if you have proper videocard and drivers, no software running which monitor videocard temperature or overclock it).

I mentioned the graphic card because I though it could be about it as it an old model. I'm using the latest drivers from Microsoft, from my experience those are the ones that work better on win8, and I'm not using any program for the graphic card so that can't be it.
I did instal 0.119 on top of an older version so I will try a clean install tomorrow.

Sorry, i missed videocard model in the message. Then you can't do anything, ATI do not support vendor hack in this videocard (this is just marketing limitation), so you can only use old version of the mod, it's ATI + Skyrim issue.

I was just going to do the clean install now, glad I checked here first again, saves me some time. It's probably time to get a new laptop anyway. Thanks for your help :)
