Hi guys

I'm having a problem were shadows appear and disappear while using Enhanced Motion Picture ENB

Here's a video of what's happening:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GHzzqCFmVc

I have Skyrim with patch 1.7 and Dawnguard (I couldn't find on SkyrimPrefs.ini the bFloatPointRenderTarget= option).

Can you think of any solutions?

My system specs are:
Intel i5-3570K
AMD Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition
8GB DD3 PC-12800

Thanks in advance

Does the issue occur only after you've switched to desktop a couple of times? If yes, then it's totally normal - don't do it.

Try to turn off parallax bug fix and speed hack in enbseries.ini, if not helps, disable each effect (better to start with detailed shadows). With all new issues user's posting, i'm starting to think it's dlc problem (but i won't buy dlc, f*ng hate them).

I did as you guys recommended, and I think not switching to desktop worked for a while but it's happening again since I did it one and saved the game there-after.

It sounds absurd, but could this be the cause? That I'm using a saved game on which I switched to desktop?

This is game breaking for me, because the losing and reappearance of shadows is very noticeable.

Hello, I am also having the exact same problems with my shadows disappearing then reappearing. I am using a similar card with Radeon 7950. I can confirm that I have my skyrimprefs folder set with the right values. While I'm at it my sword, shield, arms, and some in world objects become transparent in game, any known cause for this?

Shadows is driver bug, if i understood correctly from another topic. First person arms, etc, etc, etc isn't bug.

Thank you for posting your workaround, but I have already rolled back my drivers from 12-10 to 12-08. Also as your my transparent world objects ect seems to be and issue with SSAO I've installed a version of the ENB I want without SSAO and resolved the issue.

I've seen Realistic Lighting and More Dynamic Shadows cause this effect when used together. Maybe try disabling one or the other if you have those mods running. Prob best to just turn both off for starters and re-add which ever one you might have it at all. Otherwise, backup your .ini files and re-create them. Could be a shadow setting in there that isn't working with something else.
