Hi, I am running skyrim on an AMD 7970 with a 3570k cpu... I have been using ENBs for a while and now all of a sudden, Im getting some weird graphics glitch when I try to install an ENB, whether its the default one or a custom one like "unbleak enb".

Here is the screen

Does anybody know what is causing this? When I remove ENB from my skyrim file , the game works fine, this only happens when I have ENB in it.
My drivers are up to date.

Thanks!

May be the drivers? Latest aren't best. Downgrade them unless game will run properly. But first of all, check if some setting are changed in catalyst control center. I played latest beta patch of Skyrim on nvidia card, but who knows, may be it have something for ati...

I've had these drivers for a while and ENB has worked on them just fine, I'm thinking something might of messed up in my latest ENB switch and got corrupted or something... contemplating just returning Skyrim to normal and reinstalling mods one by one since I have them saved on an HDD

I'd guess the new patch has messed up your settings. Try removing Skyrim.ini, SkyrimPrefs.ini and RendererInfo.txt and let the game create new ones by starting the launcher. Afterwards make sure bFloatPointRenderTarget is set to 1.

Removing that just gives me CtDs even when doing bFloatPointRenderTarget and stuff... guess I'm just gonna go for a reinstall

hey there,

hopefully someone will read and reply to this post.

I have the same issue with ENB and Skyrim.
I use a HD7870. Tried it with several versions of Catalyst with the same problems.

I downloaded several versions of enb series and I have found out, that I get this bug down to v0112kage.

When I use the d3d9.dll from v0108truehdr everything seems to work fine. So its not an issue from the driver software, its more likely a bug inside the d3d9.dll

Maybe someone from the devs could have an eye on that. I´d be really happy to use enb in its uptodate version.

Greets,

Dober

This is ati control center (or other tools) related, nothing with enbseries mod. On that screenshot by topic starter you see shadow result rendered as deffered in game, there is not way to visualize that shadow texture in enbseries, because it not used by mod after it's blurring which happen in first 1/3 of frame. Look for antialiasing properties forced or something else.

Sorry, but that doesn't seem right that it's not the mod.

I'm getting this on an nVidia card, no forced settings, properly modified .ini files, no overlay programs.

If I take out a torch the whole screen goes back to normal. Put the torch away and I get that red/white/black again.

version 0119 works fine, so I'll keep using it, but nothing has changed with any of my video card, driver, or .ini settings before updating to v0123

Pogo
0.119 used forward rendering and 0.123 deferred, so you're most likely forcing AA in your display adapter profile. Check with Nvidia Inspector or similar and revert to default settings.

I'm sorry man you're correct, I still had AA on in the prefs.ini, probably the cause of the OP's issue as well.
