Can anyone tell me how to remove the annoying sun texture? I just want to be able to see the sun and sun rays, but not the sun texture that can sometimes show behind a mountain or character during sunrise and sunset. I tried deleting the sun texture file in Textures/Effects/Sky

What you got there in the screens is actually the sunglare, not the sun. I don't remember from the top of my head for sure, but I think you can decrease the glare by decreasing SunCoronaIntensity and SunCoronaCurve in enbseries.ini, although the best way to get completely rid of it is to use the CK. As first-aid you could also try deleting sunglare.dds to get rid of the ugly fake glare look.

Yes, it's sun glare and it's editable by parameters (don't remember too which one for glare and which one for sun itself). But the strange thing is why it show up like on those screenshots, seems occlusion query not work, drivers may be or skyrimprefs wrong.

I'm not completely sure as the issue looks pretty pronounced in the screenshots, but isn't that a vanilla game issue? I've noticed that when looking directly at the sun while it's partially obscured by an on-screen object and the edge of the sun becomes visible behind the object, the glare gets drawn on top of the object. It's noticeable especially when using high glare intensity.

Whatever it is, in my opinion it's best to disable the fake glare altogether.

I'll try disabling the glare. The texture overlaps only for a split second but it's enough to the point that it bothers me. It seems more pronounced in 1st person than in 3rd person. I think its a vanilla issue, but ENB settings can amplify the issue as well as suppress. Problem is I'm not very good with settings. I will give it a go though.

Thanks all :)
