Skyrim dark terrain issue

So my Skyrim is having issues when using ENB, first being that the terrain can range from being extremely pitch black, or being grey, with the mountains in the far view being pitch black, I also am encountering issues where the sun rays go through objects.
This is my current Skyrimpref.ini file: http://pastebin.com/cUEus5rd
This issue does not seem to occur in "The Wilds ENB" or the stock ENB configuration, although it does occur in The Goddess ENB, SkyRealism, Cinematic Lighting ENB, and Daemon's ENB

As for my system specifications:
Operating System: Windows 8 x64
CPU: i7-3630QM @ 2.40GHz
RAM: 8.00GB
GPU(s): Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M

I have confirmed that the 660M is in use when playing Skyrim.

Here's an image of my game using Daemon's ENB http://i1.minus.com/ibd70Q93reiklL.jpg

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

Interesting, so with the Wilds ENB everything works as they should? Have you combed the enbseries.ini files for differences?

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

I'll try to compare the presets and see if anything is different, although I'm not sure what I'm exactly suppose to be looking for, since I'm pretty unfamiliar with ENB configurations. And yes, the issue does not appear in The Wilds, or perhaps the issue may be less prominent...

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

What ENB version are you using? You're forcing hardware AA in your SkyrimPrefs.ini (iMultiSample=4) which is not compatible with any of the ENB versions past 0.119 since they use a deferred renderer.

Whoops, I forgot to update my file, it is set at 1 after mentioned by Daemon, and I was using v121212 as suggested by the ENB presets. The issue is still there.

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

I don't know, if the bug not appear with my files, may be better to turn off each effect under [EFFECT] category in enbseries.ini and see which one is wrong, then compare it with other working configs. BeyongCompare is good tool for that, but even opening in two notepads is simple.

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

Hmm, I couldn't find anything different that may affect this, although I did take a look at my RendererInfo text and noticed this:
Renderer Device Information:
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
nvumdshim.dll
RenderPath : BSSM_SV_3_0
PSversion : 300
VSversion : 300
VStarget : vs_3_0
PStarget : ps_3_0
PS2xtarget : ps_3_0
maxPS20inst : 512
3.0 Support : yes
3.0 Lighting : yes
Nonpowerof2textures : yes
FP16ARGB blending : yes
FP16ARGB filtering : no
Bloom lighting : no
Refraction : yes
2.0 hairw : yes
SLI mode : no
NVapi enabled : no
Multisample Type : 0
Transparency MS : no
HW Thread Count : 4
Which is strange, because Skyrim is set to use the NVIDIA GPU.

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

When enbinjector.exe is used, nvidia gpu is selected on laptops.

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

Yeah, I tried the injector and the wrapper, although nothing changed.

What settings are affected by useoriginalobjectsprocessing?

Re: Skyrim dark terrain issue

Bump, turns out the enb presets i mentioned that work didn't really work as I noticed how their terrain is much darker compared to the screenshots for them. If I enable "UseOriginalObjectsProcessing", the dark terrain issue is gone but of course, it uses the original objects processing. So which enb settings is changed if I enable that? I need to know so I can narrow down to what might be causing this issue.
