I got a totally black screen in skyrim with using of latest version of d3d9.dll, although the game is playable (I mean I can hear game sounds, not CTD). Shift+F12 doesn't solve the problem - still black screen. Previous versions are full of bugs too: weird black and red only colors and top left corner screen also.

System specs and Windows version?

Black and red issue with old deferred renderer versions (those after 0.119) is caused by having hardware antialiasing enabled. The previous versions are not 'full of bugs'.

I'am also experiencing this problem, have yet to find a solution. Hardware AA is set to "Use Application Settings".

Using Windows 7 64-bit and have the following specs -

AMD Radeon HD 7950
i5 3570k
8gb RAM

Also, there is no red, just black, sound works and the menu functions correctly (can hear menu sounds when I go over the text with the mouse). I have tried disabling all mods and resetting the skyrim ini files, to no success. Previous versions work fine for me (Latest version I have tested is V0.139).

The red and black issue occurs only with earlier binaries when forcing AA, not the latest ones, as the latest ones automatically disable SSAO+SSIL and Reflections when hardware antialiasing is enabled.

A couple of users have reported the black screen issue before, but sadly there's no solution yet as far as I know.

No problem, will just stick with V0.139 for now.

Got it to work through alt+tabbing as soon as the game starts and re-entering the game straight away (press alt+tab again then click). A peculiar solution and I hope it works for you too.

Have try it..no effect: game just shutdown

ATI not supported, because they don't support users by proper drivers. If you have some older version which work and can detetmine which effect do this bug, then i could compare sources to find changes, but this not solve the main problem of ati - no drivers.
