I said already, it's smooth interpolation between day and night detector values of previous and current frames to fix bugs with other mods. If you see smooth changes it's because of interpolator, just wait when it stop changes. If you don't like brightness, then it's weather mod installed which do not set properly or your enbseries.ini/enbeffect.fx not tweaked properly (adaptation occur f.e.). There is no bugs and easter eggs.

Hi

My Settings are as follows:

Code:
[NIGHTDAY]
DetectorOldVersion=false
DetectorDefaultDay=false
DetectorLevelDay=0.5
DetectorLevelNight=0.2
DetectorLevelCurve=0.05

[ADAPTATION]
ForceMinMaxValues=false
AdaptationSensitivity=0.0
AdaptationTime=0.6
AdaptationMin=0.1
AdaptationMax=100.0

Thanks for the help. ;)

Edit: I do not have any weather mods installed. This issue never happened with the previous version of enb i was using (0.114), and i was using the exact same settings then as i am now - i dont understand what has changed between 0.114 and 0.157 that can cause this... maybe you are correct and it is something not set right - just dont understand why it never happened before. Thanks

DetectorLevelCurve=0.05 - this is madness. Use my default preset.

Hi thanks again for the reply.

The only reason i had the curve so low was because any higher and it made night time too dark. But i have changed it back to 1.0, but it doesnt help with certain interiors becoming brighter/ darker on thier own....

I have also just recently started having another problem i didnt notice before - it seems related to shadows and point lighting in exteriors. Basically shadows seem to brighten significantly depending on the direction i am facing - if i am looking directly at the shadowed area it is nice and dark, but if i turn to the left or right that area brightens significantly (including any object in that area). As for pointlighting it is the opposite - on certain things like light cast by torches and candles outside, looking directly towards the light causes it to disappear while turning away from it makes it reappear... its very odd, and again i didnt notice this until 0.157.

Also is it normal for AmbientLighting to cause a purple cast when Intensity is set higher than approx 2.0?

Thanks for your continued support - it is much appreciated ;)

Sorry about that - forgot to add screen shots.

1st image - shadows as they should be.
Image

2nd image - shadowed area brightens when turning to the right.
Image

3rd image - the posts are lit by the candles as they should be.
Image

4th image - I turn to the left and the lighting on the posts disappears.
Image

5th image - The ground is lit by the character holding the torch to the far left.
Image

Last image - Turning to face the character causes the light to disappear.
Image

I have no idea what is causing this... hopefully you do.

Thanks again.

First two may be sky lighting enabled and it's the bug of it? Then known problem and i can't fix it unless helper mod will be finished (and even then will not be easy to fix).
Third and fourth i guess the game issue as it don't draw more than 4 lights for single area, so try to disable mod by shift+f12 and see if same happen.
The last two if to speak about invisible particles on tourch, then probably bug, but i have no idea where to search for it, you are the first who reported it. Have you tried older versions, which working properly? Are these bugs keep after exiting game and loading savegame?

Thanks again for your reply.

Just tested with SkyLighting diabled, and yes it was that causing the shadow issue. I have however made an odd discovery - the shadow issue only happens when facing East, South East, South, and South West - i cannot replicate the issue when facing North West, North and North East (approx), not sure if that info helps at all...

Good news, i tried disabling the mod (Shift+12) as you said, and sure enough the same thing happens with light sources - so its not your mod :) . Also the picture with the missing torch particles is misleading, there is no issue with missing torch particles in-game...

Thanks for your help - i appreciate it ;)

Ps. If i have any suggestions for enb features ect, where should i post them?

In the comments to the mod in official download category. But almost all suggestions are useless, because i'm limited by game engine, otherwise they would be done already.
