I have been googling this for most of the day trying to resolve the issue but finally gave up and thought I'd ask here. Since installing v0.198 I have noticed a significant FPS boost in Skyrim BUT I now see huge screen tearing / vsync issues and this only occurs with ENB v0.198. I tried to isolate the problem by alternating between different ENB installations and as far as I can tell the problem lies in d3d9.dll for v0.198. Switching back to an older d3d9.dll from previous versions removes this issue.

I have tried every kind of fix within the various .ini files as well as downloading programs to alter 'frames ahead rendered', lock framerates, forced triple buffering and vsync in my CCC options, refresh rates etc. Nothing works. I did not want to post on here without thoroughly investigating the problem so if anyone is experiencing a similar issue with this version of ENB I'd love to know if there is any kind of fix. :(

Thanks!

There's an option in enblocal.ini called EnableVSync under the [engine] section. If that is set to false, then the VSync will be ignored. Set it to True.

Thank you. This fixed it!

Just out of curiosity is there any reason that would have been inactive in previous versions?
