Hi everyone,

Sorry to bother you but since I changed my hardware and re installed a few "older" games I've been experiencing a weird bug with every ENB variation I tried both on Skyrim and GTA IV EFL.

In both games the brightness is through the roof and makes the game absolutely unplayable.

Here you can see the results and the game settings : "imgur[dot]com/a/PXQSW" (sorry can't tag it or link to it, otherwise I get flagged as a spammer).

Hardware wise I'm using a Gainward Phantom 680GTX 4Go OC and haven't encountered any trouble with it except when trying to use ENB mods.
I've checked, and hardware gamma auto-correction is set to deactivated in the NVidia Control Panel.

I apologize if this isn't the place to post such stuff and I also apologize for my far from flawless english.

Have a great day!

Hi

As i remember, in gta4 this problem happen in two cases:
1 antialiasing forced in drivers.
2 common/shaders folder modified by other installed mods.
And i don't think it's gamma issue, because gamma modified looks different. Check out properties in nvidia control panel for 3d, may be there custom profile activated for color control.

Hey,

Thanks for the answer, I rechecked and tried each settings from the NVidia Panel both with every AA option set to "Controlled by the application" or "Deactivated" the results are the same :/.

Also this was a vanilla install of GTA IV EFLC, I just pasted all the files from the Standard Edition of ENB iCEnhancer X Series and then the files from the EFLC 1.0.7.0 ver. FIX folder.

What bothers me the most is that I got exactly the same problem with Skyrim (both with True Vision ENB and Sharpshooters).

First launch, a message popped up saying that I had hardware AA enable and so that some visual effects were disabled, the brightness was in this case way too high. I went to the NVidia control Panel and toggled every form of hardware AA to deactivated.
The message never showed up again and the brightness was a bit lower but still incredibly high at in-game daytime.

I really don't know from where this comes from, I never had these issues with my 580GTX or older ATI cards :S.

May be you have same issue like i had when removed AMD videocard and it's driver did something to OS so NVidia card not work properly and crashing, so each time after AMD i need to restore clean OS image. Did you have AMD on this PC or it's clean?

No this a brand new SSD which has only known this 680GTX :/
I guess It can only come from a NVidia Software issue, the weird thing is that I only have those troubles with ENB, even SweetFX and other post processing methods works like a charm.
