When in game and standing still if I rotate my camera it jumps up in brightness.

Darker:

Camera Slightly Rotated: (Brighter)

Any idea what causes this?

If this is discrete change, then game bug, i see it myself, lights have different parameters depending from distance and number of tlights limited. If brightness changes smoothly, then it's eye adaptation in enbeffect.fx.

Perhaps this is why I have seen that some preset authors completely disable Eye Adaptation. It is very discrete and only occurs in specific locations it seems with this current preset I am using. Doesn't happen everywhere which is a good thing, I've just always wondered why it happens. I have had it occur to me when making tweaks and it started happening everywhere.

I have the same problem.

It's most evident at windows in my modded player home, though the whole scene is affected. Without window mod (this is in addition to the house mod), they change brightness. With the mod, the colors actually change from white to yellow and back.

While I'm using CoT and RLO, I know it's an ENB problem-- F12'ing off the ENB prevents the brightness change from happening.

I'm using Enhanced Shaders FX. For me at least, it's not a problem with adaptation. Turning off adaptation does not fix anything. I was able to tweak settings so that at least at night, things are fine. I'm pretty sure things were fixed after adjusting the AmbientColorFilterInteriorNight. This affects the overall ambient light and I also had to adjust AmbientlightingIntensityInteriorNight and AmbientlightingCurveInteriorNight. I'm not sure if tweaking those values was what fixed it. I was not able to fix things in the daytime, for some reason-- adjusting the corresponding parameters (AmbientColorFilterInteriorDay, etc) did not work.

I'd love to hear anyone else's thoughts on this.

Why not just run with my official shaders and if bug still occur, then with default enbseries.ini? It's not "popular" bug, so i'm curious if it's bug at all.

When you say 'run your official shaders' do you mean use a different ENB using the most up to date files? I'm not using any of the newer ENBs since they all give me a 4x increase in loading screen times in most locations, with Whiterun being particularly painful. I think you mentioned it was due to ENBoost issues which were not correctable. If there's a way to turn off ENBoost and get loading screen times back down to normal, I'd try that-- it'd be nice to run the newer ENBs. I think Realvision (the one I'd go to) incoroporates ENBoost into its settings. Also, the default enbseries.ini's that have been chosen tend to look bad on my screen. I usually end up heavily tweaking things so I can see better, especially in dark areas.

Come to think of it, Phinix did this too, but even more severely. That was the reason I changed to Realvision for awhile. I don't recall if Realvision did this too, but if it did, it wasn't very noticible. I'm pretty sure I tried toggling off Phinix's adaptation settings back then, thinking (wrongly) that that was the problem.

I suspect the changes in lighting happen fairly frequently to people, but they don't bother to post about it. It's not game-breaking. Just a little annoying and it really only happens in certain places / lighting situations and mainly noticable when you're panning around the room (or if like me, you have a window mod that gives a different color than the vanilla windows). In general, if you're busy doing other things (and not paying too much attention to the visuals), you really don't notice it much and I'm pretty happy with the results I'm getting otherwise.
