so, I changed my WIN7 to 64 bit recently
I reinstalled skyrim and tried to play with ENB
but whenever I put D3D9.DLL to my skyrim folder
it gave me a CTD (not even seen the intro yet)

I've checked the log
is says
"redirecting CreateDevice
D3DXCreateEffectFromFile failed"

P.S : I've tried the Injector , it doesnt work
My loadorder is fine since I didnt install any MODs , only DLCs

I tried to other games like HL2 , New Vegas
it also CTD when I put D3D9.DLL into them

Crapware is all kind of incompatible software which inject themselves in game process but do nothing useful, these are very popular these days. You have them running or some other mod which do the same thing (or skse plugin). Have you added something like d3dx9_42.dll or another d3d9.dll (not from enbseries) to game folder?

I wrote already, "redirecting CreateDevice D3DXCreateEffectFromFile failed" is not the message of ENBSeries, it's some other software. Did you installed latest DirectX Runtime?

In case somebody else has this problem (since I only just spend 2 hours on this as well after re-installing -.-). This error is from steamapp/common/Skyrim/log.log and I believe originates from SweetFX. It indeed indicates missing DirectX components. MS has only a dozen or so downloads for DirectX but only 1 of them fixes this issue. Anyway, the link is on the Realvision ENB nexus page. This is it:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35

Also slightly confusing that dxdiag said I had DirectX installed prior to running that msi. So in short: Download the installer from MS and run it anyway!

Thanks for the help!
