Hi guys, I have a weird issue, my menu ingame is completely dead.I am playing with Skyrim. I installed the enb then realvision, but when I enter the game, I cannot change the ticks, menu options. All what I got is just a flicker on it and the tick jump back in to the originial state. Help me pls, beacuse in this way the ENB completely useless, I cannot change a single thing. I tried with 250c, 246b, tried to copy ther whole enb thing from my old backup where it is worked, still the ingame enb menu is dead. Anyone knows what is going on? (this is the shift+enter menu with all the tune options) |

skse can cause this problem? I actually asked everyone on the forums at nexus about this back in early January, i've been dealing with this for about five or six months, giving up and coming back to it every now and again, i thought i'd come to the ENB website and try contact someone directly, seeing the forum here is a great relief and hopefully the answer to my problems, i actually made a youtube video about it for the folks at nexus but they thought i was just not doing it right, saying that its only had 24 views since then so not many people have even bothered to look at the problem over at nexus. http://youtu.be/JZ_hyHCTWEY - Video showing whats up, i'm doing my best the entire time to enable random things. I've actually had a complete OS & Skyrim re-install and this bug still persisted with me, anything on the tab called ENBSeries.ini can't be changed or altered, it tries to though but instantly goes back to whatever it was set to, i decided I'd try enable it manually through the config file after closing the game, enabled a couple settings and came back and everything was like a black and white glitched mess, pictured here: http://i.imgur.com/1W97lPv.jpg (I heard imgur is okay to post on here, however if i've done something wrong please let me know) I've had alot of experience with ENB, i've used it and made presets since Fallout 3, its a brilliant bit of software and i can't thank Boris enough for making it but this bug has me really annoyed about things, just with the fact no-one i've asked so far has a clue as to what causes the problem, i've tried disabling skse but thats done nothing, antivirus is off, nothing and i'm on windows 7, i thought it could maybe be fraps but even thats not the case here, something seems to prevent me from editing any values, like its turned into a Read Only format on the settings or something, i was thinking mods but i really don't go crazy with mods, i have some lore friendly armors and weapons, skse for the better hud and texture mods, nothing i'd say that could prevent ENB's gui from working, and i've had much more going on in skyrim with ENB in the past, i had tried my old presets/versions but those too had stopped working so i hope i can find a solution here, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

What is see from video means that some other software or skse plugin modify/hook/intercept input commands and only you can find out which is. I can't help. |

Hi - this is somewhat anecdotal evidence but I figure it can't hurt to toss this out there. Oneof the people using my preset had this problem (the in-game GUI refused to work). However when they set benablefileselection=1 in the skyrim.ini the indicated it started working for them. I say anecdotal as it could have also been something else they did. On the other hand only takes a second to check it out and see if it might help if not already set. |

I'd like to say after many months of problems i've managed to fix this problem, I had AMD & Raptr's AMD Gaming Evolved program, This program can edit game settings to you're ideal performance etc and its a piece of software i'd been using for a while, Never would have known that would have been the problem, my friend who also used this had his ENB stop working, it was thanks to him letting me know he'd recently uninstalled it, low and behold that was the answer, I never even used AMD's Gaming Evolved with Skyrim but ending the process via task manager got it working again, can't believe it was something that simple, Thanks for you're support as always and i do really appreciate the support, Extremely pleased to have ENB working again! |
