This is my first post so hello everyone and major thanks and kudos to all the mod and ENB modders which have allowed me to relive Skyrim in an incredible way.

Unfortunately, while trying to upgrade the gameto its fullest graphic potential, I have encountered a somewhat disturbing glitch : At full dark nightime (10pm+) the Fog, Smoke and Water spray elements become illuminated to an absolute white.

I am attaching screenshots to fully explain the situation.

I have tried using the Particle patch, but it changes nothing.

I am using Realvision ENB presets, Climates of Tamriel, W.A.T.E.R and other mods which I have tried to disable in order to pinpoint the issue. My final analysis seems to point to the ENB.

Hence my question : does anyone know how to fix the issue ?

Thanks in advance.
Erwan

This should be fixed by the particle patch... You're sure you installed that and let it overwrite everything?

Hi Jafin, yes I tried a NMM install of the particle patch, then even went on to do a manual install making sure to overwrite all the concerned files and folders.

However, I also realized that when using Shift+F12 (thereby turning ENB off) the issue remains.

So perhaps it's not linked to ENB ?

I also tried removing any water mods, but then why would my issue also concern spider webs, fog or torchfire smoke - it's strange.

Perhaps linked to a setting from the Realvision ENB presets or files ?

I'm trying to pinpoint the cause before finding a solution, but if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Thanks

HA ! Found the guilty culprit :Realistic Nights mod

I guess it modifies specific levels of gamma or brightness which impacts the textures I was mentioning.

Deleted it and now all is good, for future reference.
